Episode 16

Maida went to armaan's office as she was free and wanted to have lunch with him . she entered the office and saw aria just ahead of her . aria greeted armaan's secretary with a big smile and entered armaan's office . 

Maida headed towards the door also but armaan's secretary stopped her . 

" mam ! please wait , sir isn’t inside . he is in the meeting room. " she said . 

" okay " Maida said and again took a step thinking that she could wait inside , but his secretary came infront of her . " mam , with due respect , please wait here . no one is allowed to enter sir's room , when he isn’t inside " she said . 

" do you know who i am ? " Maida said controlling her anger " how dare you stop me ? i just saw aria entering his office and you telling me no one is allowed to enter his office in his absence " she clenched her fists , her face went red in anger . 

" mam , i know who you are , and i didnt mean any disrespect by stopping you . i am just following orders .i haven’t lied to you , really , no one is allowed , not even sir's parents . aria mam is the exception . she can do whatever she wants here , go where ever she wants in this office ,even sir wont stop her . please try to understand mam ! " she said trying to calm Maida , Maida took a deep breath and turned to leave . 

but armaan saw her as he was returning to his office , " hey ! where are you going ? " armaan asked her , as he saw her heading towards the room . 

Maida relaxed herself and said ," you weren’t in office , and your secretary was telling me to wait here , so i thought i should better go , as i didnt know how much time you were going to take ." 

" oh , i am free now , we can talk in my office " armaan said and headed towards hid office , Maida entered after him. 

they saw aria sitting on the side sofa using a laptop . she had her college bag with her , it was clear that she had come directly from her college . 

aria greeted both of them and started to close the laptop . armaan settled down on the other side of the sofa . Maida took the other sofa . 

" wow armaan , i cant trust anyone with my laptop , what if they end up deleting something even by mistake " she said looking at aria . the sweet girl , her honey locks were pulled in a high pony tail. 

" this laptop is aria’s , she spends a lot of time in my office , so i have one extra for her here . and even when she is using my laptop , i don’t mind . and about deleting files , aria had done it multiple times in her childhood " he said the last part laughing and touched aria's pony tail . he adored those memories , she would cause him some problem and then start crying without even him scolding her . 

" you should have given me a separate laptop from the start" aria said pouting , she felt embarrassed about the problems she had caused him . 

"by the way , are you free next week " armaan asked aria taking her mind off .

" yeah mostly , there are only a few classes due to the celebration week " aria told him . 

" perfect ! we are going to hunza then . i have a seminar over there and its going to take me 2 3 days over there " armaan told aria . 

" we have just returned from vacations a few days ago " aria reminded him . 

" so? its going to take me 2 3 days to come back and how will you stay alone at home ? it gets difficult for you in a day without me " armaan reminded her . 

" okay !" aria said and got up as she needed to use restroom . 

Maida was quite through the whole conversation and she felt like armaan also forgot about her presence . 

" by the way , how would she be alone ? isn’t Mr and Mrs Malik at home ?" Maida asked armaan . 

armaan diverted his attention towards Maida and said " yes , they are , but aria is used to me . she gets upset and start worrying others if i am gone for more than a day " 

" so , are you going to shorten your honey moon to a day's trip or you planning to take aria with you ?"  Maida asked the question jokingly , but the sharpness in her tone was clear . armaan didnt reply . 

" i am also invited to the seminar in hunza , i guess we can spend some time together there , if you don’t mind " Maida continued . " sure " armaan said and when aria returned , armaan ordered food for them . 

Maida didnt want to feel jealous or upset over that small girl , but it was getting difficult with time , armaan's care and attention towards aria wasn’t getting digested by her . 

she left after having lunch.
