DESTINY VS DETERMINATION : THE SAGA CONTINUES .

**Year 2005 , February 22nd , Night 10:00 pm

It was the calm before the storm . The night as very peaceful , the sky was very clear , filled with a sea of twinkling stars . The beautiful , bright , crescent moon was the centre of attraction . All beautiful things must come to an end , in the same way this breathtaking scenery would come to an end by the thunder storm that was to come** .

**The royal palace was a busy sight to see .

The royal guards and the palace maids were busy in making the arrangements for the night of mahashivratri . The auspicious time of the great day would begin that night , at 11:00 pm and end the next night at 10:54 pm . Since it would be mid night by the time Mahashivratri would begin , they were making preparations for the puja that would be performed the next day .

At 10:12 PM :- The sound of the shattering of glass came from the Queen's room .**

The head matron came out of the queen's room and said , " Her highness , the queen has gone into labour ! Someone call the royal doctor immediately ! "

After some time the royal doctor comes and checks the queen .

The doctor claims , " The situation is very critical , her highness's delivery date is of next month 23 rd , then why did she go into labour a month before !? "

The head matron pleads , " The Queen has been poisoned ! Please save her and the heir ! "

The doctor explains , " We need to operate her now , since the baby is going to be premature it's difficult to know whether the child will survive or not and also the queen's condition is very critical so I can't guarantee who will survive but I will try my best ! "

The queen then requests , " Doctor please , I can't care about my life if my child doesn't survive . Even if I die please save my child ."

The head matron and the other maids , " My lady ! ......"

The queen says between her labour pains , " The biggest bliss of a mother is when her child comes to this world safe and sound , irrespective of her life but what's the use of my life if my child can't live , what kind of mother would I be if I can't save my child ? Wouldn't that be the biggest curse for me ? I will only regret living without my child , so I wish I'd rather die than my child ."

The doctor assures , " I will try my best to save you both ."

Just then the medical staff comes in and the doctor starts operating the queen . After an hour and 20 minutes .........

At 11:32 PM :- A loud noise of crying of a baby is heard.

The doctor announces " It's a girl and the queen is safe , luckily the poison did not reach the baby or else she would have been a still born , but the baby being premature is very feeble and fragile . She needs to be kept in an incubator in the ICU . Only after 3 days can we confirm the condition of the baby ."

The matron questions , " Why has the Queen has not yet regained her concious ?"

The doctor answers , " The effect of anesthesia has to wear off as for the time we can't confirm anything , it can be a day or a week** ."

At the same time, somewhere on Kailash parvat

The devotee asking lord Shiva , " Mahadev , she has now taken birth , does that mean she chose to fight and will live ?"

Mahadev replies , " It's true that she has been born but the decision of life or death still depends on her . If she's willing to fight she will stabilize herself in the coming 3 days if not her condition will remain critical untill she reaches the age of nine months ."

The devotee asks , " So that means she will determine her destiny by passing the critical period within 3 days if not she will face the same fate as her previous life ?"

Mahadev just gives a smile and keeps mum.
