Suga

Min-Yoongi also known as Suga or August-D (which is also the name of his first solo mixtape) is a south korean rapper, songwriter and record producer. Managed by bighit (which has changed its name as hybe?), he debuted as a south korean pop idol group BTS in 2013. He was born on 9 March 1993 at Buk District ,Daegu, SK. His stage name Suga is derived from the first syllables of the term shooting guard, the position he played in basketball as student. He adopted the alias AgustD in 2016 for his mix tape, which is derives from the initials DT, short for his birthplace, Daegu Town and "Suga" spelled backward. SUGA DT

In December 2013 Suga, who was diagnosed with appendicitis, under went surgery at Severance Hospital in Sinchon on the 9th and was discharged on the 17, but was hospitalized again on 26 due to inflammation in the surgical site. Consequently, he couldn't attend the year-end awards ceremony for the first time since their debut. In December 2016 Suga suffered from and ear injury which was caused because of tripping over a door threshold. An the doctor recommended him not to participate any choreography or performance for a week so that it would heal well. In November 2020 he went under a surgery to repair a shoulder injury on his left. He has spoken openly about his health and LGBTQ+ community. In 2014 he made a promise to buy meat to his fans once he find success as a musical artist. He even completed his promise after four yrs in his 25 birthday by donating beef to thirty-nine orphanage as 'ARMY', the BTS fan base. For his 26th birthday in 2019, he donated ₩100,000,000 which is about US $ 88,000 to Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation alongside 329 BT21 shooky dolls. (wish i can get one) On February 2020 he donated KR₩100,000,000 to Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association for preventing Covid-19 and helping difficulties from his home town Daegu.

His family consists of his mom, dad, older brother. He is in charge of fixing things that joonie brokes like light bulb, toilet etc.

His hobbies are playing basketball, reading comics, playing games and taking pictures. When he was a trainee he use to play basketball every Sundays.

Everyone calls him grandpa as he always sleeps and can be cranky. Another reason he knows a lot about stuffs. In my opinion he doesn't like being hugged........maybe not we don't know as we ain't him. He always nags or scolds youngers when they make mistakes. He likes cats(little meow meow◖⚆ᴥ⚆◗) and electronics and used to watch videos on YouTube. He comes from a poor family and after debut he sat blankly at the dorms as he couldn't believe that someone like him which is from a poor family could make it. He even says that his parents didn't support him so he came to Seoul alone.

He once said that he never celebrate his birthday before pre-debut but he now does because his fans and ARMYS make it special.(I'm proud that we make his special day more special). He also said that he knows when the members are going to bring the birthday cake by their facial expressions and the signs they give to each other. He thinks that his fans are really special to him as he doesn't have good looks nor talents which we all know is probably not true. He is bad at drawing, Japanese and English. He don't watch horror movies not because he isn't scared but because he doesn't look at them on purpose, maybe cause he doesn't find them interesting???

His ideal type: A girl a who likes music especially hip-hop. He says he doesn't really care about looks. He also want a girl who can be. very active when he wants to and very silent when he wants to. A girl that will always be by his side.
