05 CHANYEOL

Chanyeol sighed as he walked down the street from his house to cafe for coffee. His friends were telling they had a surprise for him but it was already late afternoon and he felt impatient. He was sipping his dark black coffee looking out of the window at the street that hasn't changed a bit when he saw a short girl about his shoulder length walk along with a tall guy holding hands smiling at each other walking inside the cafe. He wanted to hide as he pulled over his hood covering his eyes as he eyed them from corner of his eyes again for the second time and he now clearly can say that she was there. Y/N was there with a tall guy and she looked very happy like she used to when she was with him but now she was happy with someone else and Chanyeol felt a slight pain in his chest as he eyed the two and left his dark coffee in the cafe as he walked out for some open air. He wanted to forget but this pain was too deep and it suffocated his soul as his heart strangled for some air that could heal him and then he thought he was too late.

"Why isn't he here yet?!!!", Chen took a glance at the clock as he looked at Y/N with an apologetic look. "It's ok", she smiled, "Maybe he just wants to be alone for now", she sighed sadly as Luhan hugged her. "Did he go out when we were out for the surprise Mrs.Park?", asked Baekhyun as he helped her wipe the dishes as they already had dinner and the clock striked ten. "He went out to the cafe at the corner of the street to grab some coffee this late afternoon", she said as she thanked Baekhyun and tell him to go to the living room.

"He what?!!!", Baekhyun almost screamed, "What happened?!!!", Chen shouted back as Baekhyun said, "Maybe he saw Y/N with Kris and we went too overboard for the first plan", Baekhyun groaned scratching his nape as he sat down on the couch face palming. "He what??!!!..., No Way!!!", Suho shouted worried, "You guys never listen to me!!!", he sighed as they mouthed 'sorry hyung', as he shook his head. "We must make him understand the misunderstanding", said Sehun as Luhan mouthed 'wow you've grown a lot!!!^^', "You're right but how?!!!", Kris said with a worried tone as Tao said, "We'll make a coincidence meeting with him and Y/N!!!", "But how?", asked Baekhyun, "We will wait Chanyeol to go up the Lee hills maybe tomorrow because he still remembers that place", said Xiumin as he smiled sternly, "Sounds good to us what about you Y/N?", Luhan asked as he hold her tightly in his arms, she smiled as she

said, "Sounds good to me too^^".

The atmosphere was odd and nobody dared to start the conversation except for him and his so-called girlfriend : Seohyun were whispering and laughing quietly in the dinner table. The one who made the atmosphere on was silent as if she was dead.

She hadn't even started her meal as she stared sadly at her favorite dish mama Park always prepared for her. "Y/N ?", Mama Park called her for the third time as Yoora nudged her waking her up from her trance. "Yes mama?" , she said as she apologized, "Are you ok? You look so pale...", mama Park asked her with a worried face. "No..., I mean I'm fine it's just I was thinking about my project with Chanyeol", she whispered softly as she bit her lips. "Y/N, if you're not hungry it's ok just go get some rest", Yoora said with a concerned face as Y/N stood up to go to her room. "Excuse me for a minute", Seohyun said as she walked to the washroom so what they thought but she was following Y/N who was heading to the garden.

"Y/N?", she said coldly as she stared at her with full of hatred. "Yes?", Y/N said as she finished putting some baby plants on the small flower pots. "Why do you call Chanyeol's mom mama? Are you a little kid or are you trying to impress her so you can steal my Chanyeol from me?!!!", she angrily whispered at Y/N as Y/N replied blankly, "Chanyeol's my Best Friend and calling his mom mama is my choice, whatever you think", "So you're going to stay forever in here impressing his family? But not for long!!!....", Seohyun said angrily as she screamed as if she were in pain. Y/N was shocked as she looked over at Seohyun who was gripping her arms as if she were in a deep pain. "Are you ok Seohyun?, mama Seohyun is in pain!!!!...", she shouted as she tried to help her as everyone came out running to help Seohyun.

"What happened?!!!", Chanyeol ran towards Seohyun holding her in his arms which he didn't know she was just pretending. "She was talking with me when she suddenly screamed in pain...", Y/N said as she massaged Seohyun's arm. After all the fuss  Chanyeol pulled Y/N angrily bruising her wrist in which for the first time he didn't mind and Y/N was confused. "How could you?!!!", he yelled at her making her flinch, "How could you hurt her arms and mainly her feelings Y/N!!! I thought we were Best Friends but now I guess you're not the Y/N I knew in the past, you're just the worst best friend I ever had and now I regret taking with a loner like you because you were loner from before!!!!", he said as he stopped for his breath.

'It hurts so much', Y/N thought as her eyes welled up with tears of pain in which Chanyeol never understood. "Don't you dare talk with me anymore. We're strangers forever and nothing more. I never knew you", he said sternly as he looked at her with only hatred as she sobbed silently as she ran up the hill. That night she felt like the kid she was when she was all alone. Memories of family were blurred and she was alone all by herself. From then onwards they never knew who they were. He forgot who he was and she gave up being who she was. They changed, he was selfish, she was lonely, the world was too cruel to bear the pure love and bond they had as a friend. The night was darker than the other nights and not even a single star shone as if they were mourning over for the living dead.

Another nightmare was attacking him as he stared at the sky full of stars but it seemed as if the stars were mocking him about his selfishness and stupidity of his actions in the past. He felt guilty and the memories of the past were nightmares for him. He cried again for the fourth time and all he could think of was about Y/N and that tall guy. 'They really looked happy together', he thought as tears streamed down his face crying silently as if he had lost something precious. He now wanted to give up as he remembered his mom consoling him earlier that day, "Don't give up son you must win her heart over it's not too late", she said smiling at him widely as she pat him.

'What if it's too late to win?,

What if it's too late to try?,

What if it's too late to change?,

What it it's too late to bring back the broken pieces together?...."

Sehun: Did we just made them broke apart further more? (Scratching his nape)

Luhan: Yep, and that was your plan Sehun!!!

Sehun: Hya!!! Stop it I really didn't mean to (pouts)

Biji: Sehun you're not cute (disgusted face)

Sehun: You are the main planner of this story so stop criticizing me!!! You fake writer!!!

Biji: So you knew about Y/N from the start?!!!

Sehun: Suho hyung told everyone when we went to Y/N's house to meet LuHan's friends...

Biji: Oh...

Sehun: Any questions?

Biji:...

Sehun: If you don't have them just get out before I stop telling Plan B!!!!

Biji: Plan B???!!! What's that Mr.Oh?

Sehun: Like I said earlier 'make the misunderstandings understandable!!!'

Biji: Oh right!!!... hehe... But How???!!!!

Sehun: That's up to you. Now get out before you get kicked out by Me or Chanyeol!!!!

Biji: Is Chanyeol already back??!!

Chanyeol: I'm right here... (he waves sleepily)

Biji: When did you get here? (Shocked)

Chanyeol: Just now..., Is something wrong? (Looks at her irritatingly)

Biji & Sehun: NO!!! Hehehe

Chanyeol: Are you two hiding something from me? (Eyeing them suspiciously)

Biji & Sehun: NO!!! (Shaking their heads)

Chanyeol: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!....

Biji: Has he gone mad? That's affecting him too much... (whispers worriedly)

Sehun: Maybe you're right, we should get them together before he gets more crazy!!!...

Biji: Right... (sighs)

Chanyeol: Are you two a couple?!!! Hahahahahahahaha!!!!... (laughs crazily)

Biji: Oh my....

Sehun: Let's go...

(Taking Biji with him)

Chanyeol: Hehehe (laughs evilly) Knew it 😉
