Episode 2

Coming to the cafe, I'm being greeted by some fat boy in glasses. 

"Finally, you've come!! Hurry up and help us!!"

"Wait, wait!"

He didn't even let me take a break and told me to change to the server uniform. After that, I help the cafe to serve the customer. 

Today, there is so much guest. So then Fumiya was asked by his boss, asking me to help him. As a friend, of course, I'll help him. 

When I serve the customer, Fumiya though that I'll be awkward because he knows this is my first time doing a job as a server. But he surprised to see me so naturally serving the customers and even flirt with some female customers. He even saw me some female guests give me their phone numbers to me. 

When the cafe becomes quiet, he started to confront me. 

"What the hell! How to can you become Cassanova, when I didn't see you for a few days!!", Fumiya asked.

"Haha, it's maybe a bit of luck. ", I replied.

I just laugh but he grinned his teeth and envy me. 

"Give me some of their numbers!!", he said.

"Sure, I'll give you some. "

Then I gave him some phone numbers of the girls I've known today. Even though, I give him the phone number is it his own effort whether he can ask the girl to go out with him and I'm okay to give him some of the numbers I got today. After all, they're all strangers. It's not like these women are my women.

He seems happy when I gave him 1 number of girls to him. 

"Yay! Thank you, I'll cherish it!"

"Don't cherish it! But work hard for it!", I replied.

"Yes, I'll do my best!"

"Ara, Natsuo-kun we didn't meet for a short time. But you seem different, it's like you've got a lot of confidence around you. Did you get a girlfriend?"

This time, the manager of this cafe Kobayashi-san asked me.

"Wha! Really, you got a girlfriend Natsuo!!"

Fumiya seems full of hate and envy, hearing Kobayashi-san. 

"It's not like that Kobayashi-san. ", I replied and rub the back of my head.

"Don't call me Kobayashi-san, call me Marie!"

I shake my head to him. 

"Fiuh!"

Fumiya seems relieved hearing that I don't have a girlfriend. 

"Hello, if you sigh in relief like that, people are gonna misunderstand that you've got a feeling towards me."

I didn't say it out loud but just shuddered thinking about if Fumiya really likes that. 

"Then, why?"

"I've got some breakthrough in my novel. "

"Hey, really? You can write a novel?"

Fumiya seems happy because he knows that my dream is to become a novelist. 

"Yes, I've brought my laptop today. Do you want to read it? It's not yet finished though."

"Sure, sure, let me see it. "

Then I brought my laptop to them and let them read my novel,

The novel I write is called 50 Shades of Gray. This is one of the most favorite romance novels in the world. 

After all, I've only written a few pages, so when they finished reading it. Both of them look very unsatisfied. 

"What the hell! Why don't you show us when you finish it!"

"Yes, you give us a cliffhanger. I can't sleep right now thinking about the development of your novel. "

"Sorry, I didn't know you guys like it that much."

"Yeah, the romance is really good. "

Kobayashi-san said something so creepy. My bare arms were prickling with goosebumps, and a shiver ran through my body.

"Ah, I'm sorry. I'll write your order!"

Then I came toward that in where the customer was, and in that table, there is this beautiful girl wearing glasses and her hair in buns. 

"Hmph, I'll order americano. "

"Sure, one americano; and I'm sorry for earlier. "

"It's okay, I understand."

Then I told her order to the kitchen. 

"We shouldn't talk during work. "

Fumiya seems to realize his mistakes. 

"Well, as long as there is not much guest and we can control it. It's okay. "

Even though we make mistakes, Kobayashi-san didn't seem very angry toward us. But just told us to be careful next time. 

"Well, I feel bad toward the guest. How about I play the piano there?"

I pointed my finger toward the piano. 

"Hey, can you play the piano?"

Fumiya seems really surprised seeing his childhood friend. After all, he knows that I have many interests in it. 

"Sure, can I play Kobayashi-san?"

"Please, I want to hear it too."

Then after I give the americano to the girl. 

"I'm sorry about earlier, how about we let you hear the piano play."

"Hey!", the girl raised her eyebrow.

She didn't expect that the cafe is gonna compensate for it with a piano play.

"Sure, but my standard is very high."

"Please, don't worry about it."

Then I walked toward the piano, she seems dumbfounded seeing that I'm the one who's gonna be playing. 

Everyone seems very anticipated hearing what kind of song, I'm gonna play. 

"Did Natsuo really can play?"

"Well, I don't really know."

Sit on the piano's chair, I'm thinking about what kind of song should I play. She was looking at me with a provoking look.

"Well, what a cutie you are."

I wiggled my head and started to play. 

Everyone started hearing the nice melody from the piano, and then, I started to sing.
