Episode 1

I recently started working in the

palace. After my mother died i now have no one in this world. I work in the palace. I am on duty of serving concubine Chu. She is a noble

lady. It's been a month and half since I am serving her.

' Where is my favorite lipstick!?? And

where is my morning juice??' said concubine Chu. 'Yes milady. They are on the

way' I replied. Soon all the things she needed arrived at the room one by one.

I usually do her make up and hair. She told me to make her look special today

because she was going to attend a banquet today were she can meet the emperor. She

was in a very good mood today. While on the other hand I was confused and I

didn't know how I was gonna face him. I was thinking if he would recognize me.

About 7 years ago...I had went to

the mountain to collect some wild mushrooms. After climbing I got extremely

tired and wanted to take a rest for a while. So I took shelter under a huge

tree. After a while i looked up and saw a handsome young man on the tree. He

was sleeping pretty soundly up there. I wanted to take a closer look. So I

climbed the tree as well and went near him. His face was so clear and bright. I

was drowned deeply by his handsomeness. And then suddenly he opened his eyes

and our eyes met each other. Then I got frightened and panicked and started to

fall of and then suddenly he took my hand and pulled me but we both lost balance and fell of. I

didn't understand what really happened right now but when I realized I was on

top of that guy. And then all of a sudden he took out his knife and pointed at

me . ' Who are you?? Are you here to kill me?? 'he said in a loud voice. 'Why

would I be here to kill you??I don't even know who you are' I replied in panic.

He kept quite. He just stared at me. 'It's not good to stare at a lady like

that' I said. 'What?? you're a lady!? Where is your make up and ornaments?? A

lady should always be full of grace not a plain thing like you' he replied. I

have to look after my mother all day. She can't do a thing by herself.She is really sick. I never got a chance to dress up or do some make up. I don't know why but this thing always makes me sad. I didn't give

him a reply and suddenly started walking away from him. Then he suddenly

grabbed my hand and said' Did I hurt you?? I am sorry i didn't mean it'. 'No

it's nothing I am alright' I replied. Then he told me to sit next to him. I did

as he said.’ I am the crown prince of this country. I have lot of pressure on

my shoulders. Sometimes I can’t take control of this pressure and I come to

this place to take some rest. It’s my secret spot’ he said. ‘Ahh  my apologies your highness! I couldn’t

recognize you.’ I replied hurriedly. ’It’s fine. Don’t worry. You’re kinda

interesting. I like you. By the way what’s your name??’ He replied with a

laugh. ‘Wu Qiuyu’ I replied. ‘I am Xu Jinming. You can call me Jinming as we

are friends now’ he said. I nodded with a smile.

That’s how we first met. After  that we

started to met each other there daily.

5 days have past….  ‘Haha that is so funny’ he said. ‘I knew you

would like my joke’ I replied with a big smile. We were having such a good

time. But it didn’t last for long. Soon news of  Jinming’s mother’s death came. Then he rushed

back. And after that he never came back. That was the last time I saw him. I

used to wait for him there with a hope that he will come. But after a month I

stopped going there.

Last year I got the news he became the Emperor. After that I wished to see him

a lot but I didn’t find any way. Then I went to the maid selecting section of

the palace and by luck I finally got into the palace as a maid. Since then I

still haven’t met him yet. But I do wish to see him as soon as possible. I am

still waiting to meet him.
