Episode 5: The Rebirth

...----------------...

At the guest house, Ranvijay sat with Gaurav, his eyes gleaming with determination as he shared his plan. "Before she finally trusts me, I need to give her something big to rely on," he said, his voice low and calculated.

Gaurav's smirk grew wider, and he leaned in, intrigued. "What are you saying, Ranvijay?" he asked, his voice laced with anticipation.

Ranvijay's smile was cold and calculating. "Neekah Khan is next," he said, his words dropping like a bombshell.

Gaurav's laughter was like music to Ranvijay's ears, and he smirked, his eyes glinting with malice.

In her room, Nithya stood tall, her eyes locked onto Jay's. "I know you won't forgive easily," she said, her voice firm and resolute.

Jay's expression was unreadable, but Nithya continued, her voice unwavering. "But I don't regret standing for Malishka."

Jay nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. He turned to leave, his movements fluid and controlled.

At the shopping mall, Arjun and Neeks stood at the checkout counter, surrounded by racks of expensive clothes and shoes. Neeks pouted, her eyes flashing with anger. "I thought you loved me so much," she said, her voice trembling.

Arjun's face twisted in a mixture of frustration and affection. "Of course I do, Neeks," he said, his voice soothing. "It's just that I can't pay for all of this."

Neeks's expression turned calculating, and she raised an eyebrow. "So you want me to go to Sharda University as a low-class girl?" she asked, her voice laced with disdain. "But if I use this," she gestured to the expensive items, "no one will disrespect me."

Arjun's smile faltered, and he looked nervous. Without a word, he handed the waitress his mother's card to withdraw the money, his actions speaking louder than words.

Next Day

As Shaina sat with Nithya after class, her mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Amit. "I don't know what to do, Nithya," she confessed, her brow furrowed in concern. "I need to talk to Amit."

Nithya's expression turned incredulous. "This is insanity, Shaina! ,what did Aunt Zoya said?" she asked, her voice laced with skepticism.

Shaina's eyes dropped, her voice barely above a whisper. "She's still angry with him, and she told me not to do it. But this morning, he told me about the sacrifice he made for my dad... and for my dad's sake, I will talk to Amit."

Nithya's eyes widened in shock, and she stared at Shaina, unsure of what to say.

Meanwhile, at Sharma's villa, Priya confronted Arjun about the credit alert from her card. "Arjun, can you explain this?" she asked, her voice firm but concerned.

Arjun hesitated, a sheepish grin spreading across his face. "Mum, my car stopped in the middle of nowhere, and some mechanics helped me out. They charged me a lot of money," he said, trying to sound convincing.

Priya's eyes narrowed, her expression skeptical. "Why do I have a feeling like you're lying, Arjun?" she asked, her voice laced with suspicion.

Arjun's smile faltered for a moment before he recovered. "Mum, I'm not lying. I have to go now," he said, quickly hugging her before making a hasty exit.

Priya watched him leave, her eyes filled with concern and suspicion.

In a different part of the campus, Aryan and Yug were bullying Ranvijay in the boys' bathroom. Just as it seemed like things were about to escalate, Amit walked in, his presence commanding attention.

"Hey guys, please stop this," Amit said, his voice firm but polite.

Aryan and Yug laughed, exchanging a look before leaving Ranvijay alone with Amit. Ranvijay looked up, his eyes red-rimmed from tears. "Thank you," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Amit nodded, his expression neutral, before heading to the restroom to wash his face.

Later

In the empty classroom, Amit was engrossed in conversation with Avik when Shaina and Nithya walked in. Amit's eyes widened in surprise as Shaina approached him, her eyes locked onto his.

"Amit, I want to talk to you privately," Shaina said, her voice laced with nervousness.

Avik's expression turned sour, and he stood up, his eyes flashing with annoyance. "Drama queen! I won't go anywhere. Why are you here?" he snapped.

Amit intervened, his voice calm and soothing. "Avik, please go. I'll see you soon."

Avik shot Shaina a venomous glance before storming out of the classroom, leaving Amit, Nithya and Shaina alone.

In a different part of town, at Khan's mansion, Zoya sat on her bed, flipping through a photo album filled with pictures of her sisters, Neekah and their mother. Her expression was cold and distant as Tariq burst into the room, a smile plastered on his face.

"Get out of my room, Man!" Zoya spat, turning away from him.

Tariq's smile faltered, but he quickly recovered, his voice dripping with affection. "Please, my dear Zoya, I can't live in peace when you’re angry with me."

Zoya's anger seemed to simmer just below the surface as she stood up, her eyes flashing with determination. "I will take Mahika back," she declared, her voice firm.

Tariq's eyes widened in shock, and he stared at Zoya, unsure of how to react.

In a different part of town, Ranvijay walked into his apartment, his mother busy cooking in the kitchen. He crept up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, playfully hugging her.

"You're back already. Did you find my Raj?" Ranvijay's mother replied, her voice filled with warmth.

As Ranvijay released her from the hug, she turned around, and we saw Neekah, Zoya's dead sister and Raj's ex-wife, standing in front of him, a smile spreading across her face.

The scene was frozen in time.
