Chapter 5 - Junior & Senior night

Confronted by such question, Nuan Nuan couldn't help but to look at him right away. Before she managed to asked something, Xin Yuze slipped in and spoke to her, "Ah- Finally you're looking at me."

Nuan Nuan once again dumb-struck. Her mouth slightly opened as she wanted to speak but in the end, she never did. By some means she pondered, "why?"

Xin Yuze answered, "Nothing. Just want."

"Nuan Nuan. My name's Chen Nuan Nuan",she replied again after a while glancing at him and back to her usual demeanor, cold and out of world. Meanwhile, through the moment until the classes end, Xin Yuze still firmly sitting beside her, at a time glancing at her and at a time also focusing the field's lesson.

The bell rang, yet today, it was trailed by a announcement, stating, "Notice to all students! Tonight, we will have a game, so better you get prepared!"

Upon hearing that, many of the students were overjoyed. Some jumping in place while some having a nice chatting to each other, and more. Nuan Nuan was simply curious. Her whole face right now must be clueless about anything, and that's precisely why, Xin Yuze cast a smile at her.

Nuan Nuan shifted her gaze through the room, trying to grasp whatever may she heard about that night, but it was too much of a dilly-dally that she can't put any attention to only one conversation. Giving up, she back to herself.

Xin Yuze breathe in amusement seeing her discomposed attitude with a blank face. He didn't mind to tell her after all, so he casually open his lips, "You should come tonight. You must or you might be crying for regretting not to come". He even said this in such a playful tone, nevertheless, Nuan Nuan got the feeling that what he said was true. Thus, she nodded and left the class to her dorm.

Following what had been announced, night gradually came.

All the students were called to the school's field and told to sit in a big circle following the count of people that remained. The circle was quite big, truly big, a union of junior and senior.

Both Nuan Nuan and Hua Yiyi oddly got seated side by side, which made the atmosphere between them more severely tense. Nuan Nuan doesn't care but the other side might not. Her eyes were tightly guarded next to her, so sharp that Nuan Nuan got the cold feeling arose to her.

"Now! Attention!", the host of the night spoke in a microphone. Her name was ( 云南秋 )Yun NanQiu, the school representative. Now, all the students were focusing at her.

NanQiu with great enthusiasm demanded again, "How's today?! Great? Or mid-mid?"

The students answers next were rather disoriented and confusing. Each of them wanted to slipped in their days when at long last, NanQiu put an end to it with a "shushhh-"

Then, NanQiu speak again, "It's good that all of us seems still filled with great enthusiasm tonight, so....there might be no problem continuing our game tonight, do you agree?"

"Yes!!!"

"Good. Tonight, as you may all knew already, there's a night that we will held a game for all of us. The senior might know but the junior...today you get to know, and will get used to it as time passes by."

NanQiu cough a bit before continuing again, "tonight, our game will be junior and senior bond. There are a total of three games, and the first that we played will be,'The wind blows'.

Upon hearing that, Nuan Nuan brows furrowed, rather perplexed. She'd never played games before, leading her to not knowing how to play. She wanted to ask but too shy to. Fortunately it got described afterwards.

NanQiu: "This game is simple. If i say, the wind blows...You say..."

Fellow students: "Blows to where!"

NanQiu: "After that, I'll say, blows to people who wear a blue shirt!. After saying that, all the people who wear a blue shirt must shuffle and switched to a new places to sit. Remember, the seat you took must be from the people who also shuffled. During those time, I will take one empty seat and the next person that haven't got a seat must replace me. Before that, the choosen person must be punished according to the majority vote of people here."

Not taking too much time, all of them nodded in understanding.

Hence, NanQiu started, "The wind blows..."

Crowd: "Blows to where...."

NanQiu: "Blows too....The people who...."

Hearing the words 'the people who' made Nuan Nuan for the longest time finally felt her fastened heart beat. It was not fear...rather..it was maybe excitement. Her heart oddly felt eager to know the next. It was partly caused by the tone of the host though. Let alone, those gaze. A while ago, Xin Yuze eyes has been entirely fixated on her all the time, it was like...an unknown predator was observing its prey, deep and thoroughly. Nuan Nuan can't help but to slightly furrowed again, trying to hinted him, 'what?'

Xin Yuze stayed with his smile, whereas both awaiting the result from NanQiu.

NanQiu: "Who tied their hair!"

A sudden burst of voice completely startled her that her body flinched a little. Hearing that, mostly all of the people present also starting to become erratic, running here and there in the middle of the circle, in attempt to find an empty seat. While, in the midst, Nuan Nuan also got caught in that confusion. She was smaller, thus, it ended with her, hard to get out from the limitation of the crowd. However, she maybe somewhat fortunate bumping into Xin Yuze in the middle of it, that she got lifted easily by him and putted in an empty seat next to him.

Baffled. It happened too fast to process. Nuan Nuan froze in place, and her whole body become stiff. She glance at him, her eyes phrasing, "Don't touch me!"

Still, Xin Yuze seems... uncontrollably happy as he looked at her and laugh to the crowd. Nuan Nuan didn't say anything, and couldn't. She was stuck in her dumbfounded state. She deepened her gaze again, scanning, and wondered why would he's among the masses, and yeah, he have to after all. A cute two little tied hair were clearly seen on top of his fluffy hair, he undoubtedly would be punished if he didn't move, so he have to.
