Sonnet
Sonnet 1
In shadows deep, where sorrow dwells,
My heart, a fragile vessel, swells.
Once whole, it danced in love’s embrace,
Now cracked, it mourns in empty space.
Each beat resounds with aching pain,
A whispered wish for joy again.
The shards of dreams cut sharp and deep,
In silent nights, I softly weep.
The stars above grow dim, betrayed,
Their light too weak for wounds displayed.
A love once warm, now cold as stone,
Leaves me to wander all alone.
Yet time may mend this heart’s cruel art,
I’ll nurse its ruins, scarred, apart.

Sonnet 2
In tender bloom, love's gentle spark did flare,
Its warmth a balm to hearts once cold and still.
Yet pain, unbidden, crept with silent skill,
To weave its thorns through joy's delicate air.
A shadow with regret trails where love has been,
Its whispered taunts recount each errant choice.
The heart, though bruised, still seeks a hopeful voice,
To mend the fractures hidden deep within.
Change comes, a tide that shifts the soul's terrain,
Reshaping dreams we thought would never fade.
What once was sworn eternal, now betrayed,
Must yield to time, though loss leaves lingering pain.
To leave for good, we break the chains of yore,
And seek new dawns where wounded hearts may soar.
...----------------...
Sonnet 3
In gentle hands, where tender care resides,
A warmth like dawn’s first light begins to bloom.
It mends the heart where silent sorrow hides,
And lifts the soul from shadows of its gloom.
With watchful eyes, it guards the fragile flame,
Of life, of love, through storm and fleeting calm.
Its quiet strength, though soft, can bear the name
Of courage, woven tight in soothing balm.
Yet care can wound when held too close, too tight,
A weight that bends the giver’s weary frame.
Its selfless call may dim one’s inner light,
If balance falters in its noble aim.
Oh care, sweet bond of life’s unspoken creed,
The grace sustains, yet bids the heart to heed.

Sonnet 4
When love, once bright, in splintered shards does fall,
The heart endures a wound no eye can see.
Its whispered vows, now echoes in the hall,
Lie shattered where our dreams were want to be.
Each memory stings, a blade of bitter grief,
That carves its mark through nights of silent tears.
The warmth of touch, now cold beyond belief,
Becomes a ghost that haunts the passing years.
Yet in this pain, a truth begins to rise,
Though love departs, the soul will not abide.
From ashes of despair, new strength complies,
To mend the self where broken hopes reside.
The breakup’s pain, though fierce the cruel embrace,
In the time the heart finds peace and pain in one place.
...----------------...
Sonnet 5
In love’s sweet name, lies bloom like cruel disguise,
Soft words that hide a heart that’s cold and fake.
They promise stars, but leave us empty skies,
A trust so bruised, it bends until it breaks.
Betrayal stings, a knife in tender trust,
Its whispers sweet, yet sharp with hidden pain.
The vows we held turn brittle, turn to dust,
And love’s bright glow now fades in bitter rain.
Each lie in love’s fair mask cuts deep and slow,
It builds a wall where warmth once used to grow.
The heart, deceived, must learn to face the truth,
And heal from scars that linger from its youth.
Oh lies and treason, dressed in love’s sweet call,
You break the heart, and make the spirit fall.
