In the dead of night, a large truck stopped in front of a small rental house. A man stepped out of the truck and unlocked the cabin. Within the cramped space, a few ragged figures appeared. He called a few henchmen over to drag the girls inside the house. They pulled them out one by one like sacks of rice, throwing them onto the floor. Perhaps due to the pain, the girls began to wake up. Lina clutched her head, letting out a small cry of pain. The young girl looked around the small, narrow room in confusion, realizing she had been kidnapped. Her limbs felt numb from being tied, and her mouth was taped shut so she couldn't say anything. Moreover, her throat felt parched, as if she hadn't had a drink in a long time.

She looked around the pitch-black room, where it was difficult to tell if anyone else was there. Gradually, her eyes adjusted a little, and she began to make out her surroundings. A few girls woke up, realized their predicament, and cried out in fear. But because their mouths were covered and their hands and feet were bound, they could only make muffled sounds that were impossible to understand.

The man walked in, followed by a few others. He switched on an old light, shining it on each girl's face. Their eyes, having grown accustomed to the darkness for a long time, involuntarily squeezed shut when they saw the light they hadn't seen in ages, slowly adjusting to the brightness. The men removed the tape covering their mouths, and each girl had her face lifted so a bit of water could be poured into her mouth to sustain them. Lina's dry, parched throat seemed to find rescue.

One girl screamed, "Let me go! My father won't spare any of you!"

The man suddenly burst into a cackling laugh. "Ha...ha...what are you going to 'ha'? Gonna tattle to Mommy and Daddy, are you? So cute, you little darlings!"

A few others also lost their composure and asked the man, "Why did you guys take us?"

The men laughed and replied, "One, we keep you to *play*, and if you're pretty enough, we sell you."

The girls became even more distraught. Lina remained with her head bowed, seeming indifferent to them all. This drew the man's attention to her.

"Girl in the black pants, look up!" the man said to her.

She didn't react, still bowing her head as if contemplating something. He rushed over, lifting her chin obscenely. "Well, well, this little thing is quite pretty, isn't she?" While speaking, he started touching her inappropriately.

She spoke, "If you don't want to catch a disease, use a condom!" she said blankly.

The man asked, "What did you say?"

She looked up at him and said, "I don't know how much I'll sell for, but with the disease I have, it'll be hard for anyone to buy me!"

The man demanded, "What? What disease do you have?"

She replied, "It's an occupational hazard, what do you think? Did I *want* this?"

The man became furious hearing her speak so calmly, as if nothing was wrong. He kicked her to the floor, swearing at her. She lay on the floor, her face pressed against the sole of his shoe. Blood flowed from her mouth. Unable to resist, she ignored his shoe pressing against her.

Then, suddenly, a henchman dragged a few large bottles of liquor into the room. "Come on, brothers, let's celebrate! This is a big haul!"

The man grabbed a bottle of beer and took a long swig, but her defiant attitude clearly still bothered him. So, when he finished the bottle, he threw it right at her. The bottle shattered on the floor, and a few glass shards flew onto her.

"Can't sell her anyway, keeping her around is useless," the man said.

Suddenly, a phone rang, drawing everyone's attention. The man answered the call, and a man's voice came from the other end: "Did you catch them?"

It seemed the caller was a powerful figure, as the man replied with a slight apprehensio "I'll be right over for you to inspect the goods, Boss!"

They dragged a few girls away, leaving three people, including Lina. They closed the door, turned off the light, and left. The three remaining girls began discussing how to escape. Dawn was gradually breaking, and small rays of sunlight peeked through tiny cracks.
