[Shion’s Mansion – Night]

Rain slams against tall glass windows. The hall is silent except for harsh footsteps.

Shion kneels on the floor, bruises across his arms. His father towers over him.

Father

You’re weak. A disgrace to my name. Do better, or you’ll be nothing.

Shion lowers his eyes, fists clenched so tight his nails draw blood.

Shion

Pain doesn’t hurt anymore. Only emptiness remains.

He stares at the marble floor, expression blank. [Later – Mansion Garden]

Shion slips outside into the storm, rain soaking through his uniform. He doesn’t bother with an umbrella. His body shivers, but his face stays calm.

Shion

I wonder… if I disappeared, would anyone notice?

A faint voice cuts through the downpour.

Akira

…You’ll catch a cold like that.

Shion

(Shion’s head snaps up)

At the mansion gate, Akira stands holding a bright umbrella. His uniform is slightly messy, hair plastered by the rain.

Shion

(flatly): …Why would you care?

Akira

(gently): Because… you look lonely.

Shion

He freezes😳😳 The words pierce deeper than any blow from his father.

Akira

He steps closer, pushing the umbrella through the iron bars. Their fingers brush, electricity shooting up Shion’s arm.

Akira

Here. You should stay dry

Shion

(thoughts): His hand… warm.

Shion

Why? Why give that warmth to me?

Akira

smiles faintly, then leaves into the rain.

Shion

stares after him, clutching the umbrella as if it were life itself.

Shion

(thoughts): That boy… He saw me. He gave me light.

Shion

…And I’ll never let that light escape again.

📖 Present Day – Dorm 305 Rooftop

The rain pours again, years later. Shion leans against the railing, gazing down at Akira chatting nervously with Ren and Kaito.

Shion

His lips curl into the faintest smile.

Shion

(whispering): You found me once. Now I’ve found you again. And this time… you won’t leave.
