Becoming the Dragon's Family Muffin!!

IN SPRINGFIELD VILLAGE

Springfield village is located in the farthest corner of the south of Ophelia empire but unlike the name, the village is kinda desolate, scarce with very very few people living here

Seraphina entered a small cottage house....it was small but cozy and comfortable.....she bought this cottage long ago when she once accompanied Leon, that time they both were married, because of some work and that's when ,while she was travelling alone, she noticed this cottage and bought it with her monthly allowance

Seraphina keeps the bag of that unknown woman on the bed as she rubs her mouth ignoring the blood as if it is common.......she tied her hair and started cleaning the house......since it was unattended, the house is kind of dirty so she started moping

After an hour of cleaning she took out a few food items like breads, cookies and some fruits she bought from the station......since cooking will not be possible , she doesn't have any ingredients nor any vegetables or meat so she started eating the bread and fruits

Seraphina stood up and walk towards the bed as she opens the bag

*touches the egg* *sigh* (once in a tea party when I was still married to leon , i heard that Duchess Sylvester divorced the Duke after giving birth to their child and this egg is a dragon egg and no doubt it is the Duke's child)

What with this new trouble?? i just wanted to come here and live on my own *sigh*

Soon the sun sets as it is night now....Seraphina after having a bath changed into a nightgown and got up on bed.....for dinner she again had rest of the bread and cookies and keeping a mind note that tomorrow she will go and buy ingredients to cook

She lies down with blanket covering her......she turned this side the other side and then finally she opened her eyes as she got down the bed

*took the egg and got up on the bed as she hugged it close* i don't know why did that woman kidnapped you.....but an egg requires parents warmth especially mother's *sigh*

(what will i do.....i can't keep the egg it's impossible and if i go to the north it will atleast take more than a week to reach north from here and the train is also not always available) nevermind it's not like the egg will crack anytime soon.....will think tomorrow

Seraphina let go of her thoughts as she pulled the egg close to her chest and falls asleep like that

It's currently heavily snowing in the north making the surrounding dense and dark covered in snow and the inside atmosphere of the mansion is even more dark

As soon as Seraphina opens her eyes she was greeted by the touch of a soft pink paws on her chest

The egg is cracked as a small baby dragon emerged from inside......ofcourse the dragon is still trapped in the shells but his yellow eyes can clearly see seraphina's face as it smiled wide making some purring noise trying to come out of the shell

Seraphina bites her lips and seeing the baby struggling, she stretched her hands and started removing the shells as she helped it come out of the egg

The baby dragon eyes suddenly turns red from his initial yellow eye colour as it open it's mouth as if he wanted to bite seraphina's hand
