~Collision of Shadows~
The warehouse reeked of rust and fear. Girls sat huddled inside metal cages, their soft sobs breaking the silence.
Aarvi Mehta (FL)
*crouched high in the rafters, eyes narrowed behind her mask* 💭 So it’s true. The Mafia King himself runs this filth.
Down below, Reyan Malhotra strode in, flanked by his men. His presence was like a storm—cold, commanding, terrifying.
Reyan Malhotra (ML)
“Break the locks,” *ordered* “Get them out, one by one. Don’t scare them.”
To his men, it was a rescue. To Raven, watching from the shadows, it looked like relocation—like property being transferred.
Her heart boiled. Monster. Selling women like cattle.
With silent precision, she leapt down, landing behind him. The sharp edge of her dagger kissed his throat.
Aarvi Mehta (FL)
“Let them go,” *hissed*
Reyan’s men raised their guns instantly. But he raised one hand, stopping them.
Reyan Malhotra (ML)
*His calm voice cut the air* “Who sent you?”
Aarvi Mehta (FL)
*Her grip tightened* “Don’t act innocent. Trafficking girls? You’ll rot tonight.”
Reyan Malhotra (ML)
*His jaw clenched, irritation flickering in his eyes* “You think I’m behind this?"
Aarvi Mehta (FL)
“You’re the Mafia King,” *she spat* “Every cage here has your fingerprints.”
For the first time, Reyan almost laughed—a humorless, bitter laugh.
Reyan Malhotra (ML)
“You’re blind. I’m here to tear this ring down, not run it.”
She didn’t believe him. Her blade pressed harder, drawing blood.
With a swift move, he twisted, disarming her. She countered, striking fast, but he blocked, his strength overwhelming. They fought in a blur of steel and shadows—her knives slashing, his hands parrying, both refusing to yield.
At one point, she pinned him against the crates, fury blazing in her eyes.
Aarvi Mehta (FL)
“Those girls are not your merchandise.”
Reyan Malhotra (ML)
*voice was a low growl* “They never were. They’re victims. And I’m here to free them.”
She hesitated—just for a heartbeat. But the years of hearing about the “devil Mafia King” screamed louder in her mind.
Aarvi Mehta (FL)
*shoved away, snarling* “You’re good at lies. But I see the blood on your hands.”
Reyan’s cold gaze met hers, sharp as a blade.
Reyan Malhotra (ML)
“Believe what you want, assassin. But remember this—sometimes devils do the work angels can’t.”
His men finished unlocking the cages. The girls were escorted out, trembling but safe. From Raven’s view, though, it looked like they were being taken deeper into his clutches.
Aarvi Mehta (FL)
*Her chest heaved with rage* “I won’t let you have them.”
Reyan Malhotra (ML)
*smirked faintly, brushing the blood from his jaw* “Then you’d better be ready to lose.”
And just like that, he was gone, swallowed by the night with the rescued girls.
Raven stood frozen, dagger trembling in her grip. To her, he was the villain—the trafficker himself.
To him, she was a reckless assassin who didn’t understand the war he was fighting.
Both fated to collide again.
