Episode 2 — A Stranger’s Words
✨ Meera’s POV
The words still lingered in my mind: “Some truths are better revealed slowly.”
I couldn’t explain why, but instead of feeling threatened, a strange curiosity took over.
Aarav—or whoever he was—had appeared out of nowhere, in the quiet hours when the world slept.
And now, my own heart refused to ignore him.
I stared at my phone, hovering over the keyboard. My fingers trembled slightly.
Why was I even considering replying?
Meera Sharma (fl)
Fine. I’ll bite. But tell me—why me?
A long pause followed. I could almost feel him watching, waiting, somewhere in the shadows.
Aarav (ml)
You feel like someone I’ve been searching for.
I nearly dropped my phone. “Searching for me?” What did that even mean?
Meera Sharma (fl)
That’s… vague. Too vague.
Aarav (ml)
Life doesn’t hand clarity to strangers. It hands them questions. You’ve got the first one.
I rolled onto my side, staring at the floor. Questions. That was all he gave me—hints and shadows.
Something about the way he typed… precise, calm, almost too controlled… made my chest tighten.
I didn’t even know him, and yet it felt like he was leaving fingerprints on my thoughts.
Meera Sharma (fl)
Are you… playing games with me?
Aarav (ml)
Games are for children. This isn’t a game.
Meera Sharma (fl)
Then what is it?
Aarav (ml)
A test. Maybe a warning. Maybe… something else. You’ll find out soon.
A test. A warning. Something else. I couldn’t tell if he was threatening me or… teasing me.
The pull in my chest was confusing—a mix of fear, intrigue, and something I refused to name.
Meera Sharma (fl)
You’re… impossible to read.
Aarav (ml)
That’s the point. You’ll remember me, won’t you?
I stared at the screen, heart thudding. He was right—I already would.
Minutes passed in silence. The room was dark except for my phone’s glow.
Outside, the city slept. Inside, I couldn’t stop thinking about a stranger who somehow felt… familiar.
I didn’t know what he looked like. I didn’t even know his last name. But I wanted to. Wanted answers.
And maybe, against all logic, I wanted more.
Meera Sharma (fl)
You’d better not be dangerous.
Aarav (ml)
Dangerous? Only if you let me be.
His words were a whisper on my mind.
A subtle warning, or a promise—I couldn’t tell.
But the quiet thrill of it was undeniable.
Meera Sharma (fl)
I’ll remember that.
Aarav (ml)
Good. Because this is only the beginning.
And so, I went to sleep with a stranger’s words echoing in my mind.
A conversation that should have ended in a single, uneasy “goodnight” had instead left me restless, wanting more.
Somehow, I already knew… I couldn’t walk away from this.

My Dahlias 🌸, Episode 2 is where the layers start unfolding.
Aarav is mysterious, yes, but his words hint at something deeper—something only Meera can uncover.
Tell me—if a stranger typed to you like this at 1 a.m., would you respond… or close the app immediately?
