" well rested" I said as I got up from my bed.

それから二時間が経った。

「待って、何時？」と私は尋ねた。

初日の学校に遅刻するなんて、絶対に嫌だ。

「ああ、8時30分で、もう2時間も起きてるよ」とアマツが教えてくれた。

「じゃあ、行くよ」と私は言った。

そして少女は私に近づいてきた。

「こんにちは、その女の子に近づかないでください」と、彼女は私に失礼な口調で尋ねた。

「いいえ、私はあなたから指示を受けません。なぜなら、私は妹を捨てないからです」と、私はそれでも彼女に説明した。

「待って、知らなかった、ごめんなさい、そんなつもりはなかった……」と、彼女は懇願した。

「座りなさい、若い娘さん」と、教師が言った。
