Episode 2

~Kylenne's Pov~

But to my surprise, he picks my glass of grape juice and gulps it down. I look at him surprisingly.

"Is that how to welcome your step mum and sister? " Henry asks and that's when my mind goes back to what he said when he came in earlier, "Hey yo dad". Henry's his dad, so that makes us step siblings? Well, I shouldn't be bothered right?

"I think she should introduce herself first. Where are your manners young lady?" Mum says referring to me. Why should I do that? Henry's son came in to meet us here so there is no need for me to do introductions first. I really don't get her. I just decide to let it slip and force a smile.

"I'm Kylenne, but you can call me Kyle," I say.

I see Henry wants to laugh and he's really getting on my nerves.

"My bad. I'm Austin, Henry's son," he says and waves his hand at mum. Did they know each other already? Why didn't mum tell me Henry had a son? I just sit there and admire him. I didn't even notice when he pulled a chair to sit by me. He snaps his finger at me and draws me put of my reverie.

"I know I'm irrestible but can you please stop staring at me? You're making me shy," he whispers and winks at me. What? I wasn't staring at him and who said he's irresistible? I just roll my eyes at him and dig into my food. Throughout lunch, I didn't feel comfortable because I could feel his stares on me.

After dinner, Austin offers to help me do the dishes. I try to refuse but he's so convincing that I have to give in.

"Kyle, huh?" He asks and I nod. He is so intimidating.

"I told you I wouldn't need your help in doing the dishes. Why didn't you just listen to me?" I ask and he raises an eyebrow.

"Really huh?" He says and walks to the fridge. He pours himself a glass of water. I think he has left. I'm exhausted because the dishes are too many. I can feel beads of sweat on my forehead. I try to clean it with the back of my hand but I can't reach my forehead. Gosh!

"Seems like someone needs a helping hand," someone says and I know it's Austin. I ignore him and focuson the dishes. Just then, I felt someone's arm wrapped around my waist. I turn around to see Austin. He doesn't remove his arms but tightens the grip around my waist so that I'm breathing in his cologne only.

"What are you doing?" I ask my voice barely a whisper, but he doesn't answer me. We just met today but see what he's doing. Does he think he can take advantage of me because I'm his step sister.

"Leave me alone," I say but he doesn't move.

"Are you sure you want me to leave?" he whispers in my ear and I felt something trickle down my spine. What's he doing to me.

"You're so beautiful and sexy," he says emphasising on the last part. He traces his hand from my face to my chin and then continues to my collarbone. He stops and licks my collarbone causing me to shut my eyes close. The feeling of his tongue on my skin is giving me a feeling words can't explain.

"Ahh...," I hear a moan escape from my lips. Where did that come from? He's got so much control over my body. My mind wants me to push him away and slap him. But my body... my body wants everything he's doing and more!

I feel my breath getting heavier as he leans in more closer. I arch my back automatically and expect a him to take in my lips any moment. Again, he breaks the ice when he just wipes my forehead with something. I open my eyes to see him holding a tissue. He laughs at my facial expression. So he did all this to tease me?

"What were you expecting?" he asks and walks away from the kitchen laughing.

Shit! I cuss. How could I allow him to make a fool out of me this way?

I go to my room and lie on my bed. I can't sleep. What happened in the kitchen keeps replaying in my mind. Despite being angry at him, I can't deny the fact that I loved whatever he did to me back then.

~The next day~

After breakfast, mum tells me I'll be going to Halcyon College. She also says that Austin attends the same school. I'm extremely happy. Not because we are going to the same school but because Halcyon College is one of the best schools in Australia. Austin has already gone to school and Henry has also gone to his office.

"Did you know Henry had a son?" I ask mum.

"Yes, but why are you asking?" she questions me.

"Nothing. I was surprised yesterday. You never told me about him having a son," I tell her.

"That's because Henry and I wanted to surprise you," she says.

"A surprise indeed," I murmur to myself.

"Did you say something?" mum asks.

"Me? No. I didn't say anything," I lie.

"What do you think about him?" Mum asks me.

"Who?" I ask back knowing very well who she was referring to.

"Austin. What do you think of him?" she mentions his name and my heart skips a beat.

 Why is she asking me this question? What do I think about him? What does she expects me to say? He's handsome, cool and super hot. That I cannot stop thinking of him from the day I set eyes on him?

"I don't know. I mean I just saw him so I don't know what to think of of him," I give a stupid answer. Mum looks at me ackwardly in silence so I ask a question to break the silence.

"What about you mum?" I ask and she smiles.

"Well, as for me, I think he's a nice guy and I know you two will get along well. Don't act rudely towards him Kyle. It's high time you accept the situation," she says.

"No need to worry mum," I assure her.

The day goes by fast and tomorrow, and I can't control how happy I am to be attending Halcyon College.
