2 years passed, everything was turning out great. My life became great with Jophly . I studied hard as a result got in the most prestigious university in the country on scholarship. I was overjoyed at the new, and so was Jophly. I finally got in my dream university with hardwork, perseverance and focus. Meanwhile, Jophly had already finished his with education. He managed to get a great job at the best tech company in a good position. Moveover, we finally moved out of the Orphanage. Just has things were turning for the better, something horrible happened.
It was around 7p.m, Jophly was working on his computer. During that time, I was cooking dinner. The air filled with the sweet aroma of fried chicken and rice. As the chicken continue to scissor, Jophly suddenly shouted," mmm... that's delicious, honey."
I replied teasingly," ohh.. Jojo, the way you enjoy my food. I won't just you turned into a pig."
Jophly chuckled playing along," Ohh… Come on for you, I will turn into a pig any day."
Few minutes later, Jophly shouted in pain,"AAAAA....!!!!"
During that time, I just finished preparing dinner. When I heard the sound, I quickly ran to the dinning room. "Jophly!!!" I shouted in panic while I quickly dialed called 911.
I started crying feeling my whole world coming down. Just in time, the ambulance arrived, Jophly was quickly taken to the hospital. Simultaneously, I followed with my car. My heart pounding, my palms sweating in fear like I never felt before. Suddenly, tears came down despite that, I continued driving which like for hours.
Finally, I reached the hospital, I quickly locked up the car. I saw the ambulance, Jophly being carried on a gurney. I ran towards them while they took Jophly to the emergency room. "Madam, I think you should stay here. We handle this." The Doctor suggested looking at her.
"Okay, Doctor and thank you." I noted, agreeing to what he was saying. Then the doctor entered the emergency room. I sat down on the bench, my thoughts drift some else. I even lost my appetite, all I could think of was Jophly. "Is he going to be okay? Did I just lose him? And what's happening with him?"
