After breakfast (and after forcefully banning Lucien from touching the toaster ever again 🚫🔥), Eliot grabbed his backpack and checked his watch.

“College. Now. Or I’m gonna be late,” he muttered, shoving his laptop in the bag.
Lucien leaned on the doorway, arms crossed, tail flicking lazily.
Lucien- Ml
“You humans spend years studying when you could just sell your soul for knowledge in five seconds.”
Eliot zipped his bag and gave him a flat look.

“Yeah, and next time I want eternal suffering, I’ll let you know. 🙃”
Lucien smirked.

The campus was buzzing with life—students laughing, running to classes, someone skateboarding past with headphones blasting way too loud. Eliot weaved through the crowd, clutching his coffee like it was holy water.
Everything was normal… until he sat down in his first lecture and noticed the guy next to him.
Tall. Sharp jawline. Ridiculously good hair.
And smiling right at him.

“Hey,” the stranger said, his voice smooth.

“You’re new, right? I’m jake."
Eliot froze mid-sip.

"... Hi."
For some reason, he felt heat on the back of his neck. Slowly, he turned.
Yep. Standing in the doorway, wearing the most unapologetic grin, was Lucien.

Eliot choked. “No! He’s just—”
Lucien- Ml
Lucien cut in, smirking, “—mine.” 😏
The entire row turned to stare. Eliot wished the earth would swallow him whole.

But jake seemed amused.
