We have a new student joining us today!

He stepped in, quiet and slow, like he wasn’t used to being seen. His uniform hung a little loosely, his dark hair fell into his eyes, and when he bowed politely to the class, he smiled warmly at everyone

I should’ve looked away. I should’ve gone back to my sketchbook and ignored him like I ignored most people. But....something about him… pulled at me

There was a silence in him that matched the one in me... but it was beautiful...

The teacher assigned him the empty seat beside mine. And when he sat down, I caught a glimpse of his hands—they were trembling and beautiful. Not enough for anyone else to notice. But I did
