Xuli: So do you like ém?

Kaori: No he's a jerk.

Aniki: What are you talking about?

Kaori: My childhood crush.

Rosemary: I haven't had a crush on anyone yet.

Aniki: Yeah. We were dating.

He points at Xuli.

Kaori: Nani? (What?)

...Mellord presents...

Xuli: Yeah we were. Like 2 years ago.

Kaori: I didn't see that coming.

Rosemary: Why's y'break up.

Xuli: Break up? What are you talking about? We're still dating.

Both Kaori and Rosemary: WHA-

Xuli: Isn't that right Aniki?

She gently elbows him on the arm.

Aniki: We are not. We broke up in a week because we both realized it wasn't love.

Xuli: Love to break the fun of it, don't you?

She looks at Kaori and Rosemary.

Xuli: But yeah. We broke up pretty early on. We were still friends. Furthermore, we still are.

Aniki: Agh.

Aniki burns himself while starting a fire.

Kaori: Who confessed?

Xuli: Let me remember.

Aniki sits down on a fallen log and Rosemary starts healing him when a flashback starts.

Xuli and Aniki meet at an open field.

Xuli: Hey.

Aniki: Hey.

Xuli: So what is it that you wanted to say.

Aniki: No, you first please.

Xuli: Could you go first?

Aniki: Fine. Let's both say it at the same time.

She nods.

Aniki and Xuli both: I think I'm in love with you.

Xuli: And that's it. (In real time.)

Kaori: Sōdesu ka? (Is that it?)

Xuli: Yeah I know. We were one another's only friends?

Kaori: Really?

Xuli: I was called weird.

Aniki: I was practically an orphan.

All four of them sit around a campfire, surrounded by trees.

Xuli: Speaking of. How did you two meet?

She points at Rosemary still healing Aniki.

Rosemary: Us? Let's see.

Another flashback.

Kaori: Before that.

Rosemary: How is she breaking flashbacks?

Kaori: What are you?

Rosemary: I'm a spring fairy.

Kaori: Be more specific.

Rosemary sighs.

Rosemary: Ok. In Eutika, there are 4 types of fairies. The general genus of fairies are around the size of a human head, and have wings. Spring fairies; fairies with flower petals as wings. Our natural ability is to release a type of pheromone into the wind. It may make one fall asleep, or get them high, etc, etc.

 They remain seated on logs, with their tents already set up.

Kaori: What's up next?

Rosemary: Summer fairies; fairies with insect wings as... well wings. They can produce sounds which drive different emotions. Then we have Autumn fairies. They have autumn leaves as wings and can naturally control winds to a small degree.

Kaori: Then next winter fairies?

Rosemary: Well we don't know.

Kaori: What?

Rosemary: Yeah.

Xuli: Many claim they exist. Many call them a 'fairy' tail.

Aniki: Now that that's settled, take it away.

Rosemary: With pleasure. Ever since childhood, I've wanted to be a mage. My people lived in a field full of flowers in peace until some wolves attacked. We were helpless and were about to die when Aniki saved us. Afterwards, he spent a week with us, and I asked to join his party. He agreed and gave me these rings.

She shows the rings around her wrist.

Rosemary: These are actually finger rings but fit my wrist.

Xuli: Jeez. Wouldn't hurt you to save me once, would it?

Aniki: Aren't you going to say anything else?

Rosemary: Oh yeah. We ate the wolves.

Kaori: WHAT!!!

Few days later.

Aniki: How does that work?

Kaori: Entropy; the natural shift of balanced forces into disorder. Kinda how everything works.

Xuli: I've told him a million times. He never listens.

She sighs.

Xuli: Guess which phenomenon cyber punk is fully based on.

Rosemary: I'm hungry.

Kaori: I gotchu homie.

She takes out a small sealed honey pot from her pocket.

Rosemary: Never say that again. But still, thanks.

She takes and starts eating.

Xuli: Should we prepare food too?

Aniki: Ok.

Kaori: Can I cook today?

Aniki: Can you cook?

Kaori: Who answers a question with a question?

Aniki: You just did it.

Kaori: Oh. Plus. Mochiron ryōri mo dekimasu yo. (Of course I can cook.)

Aniki: What was that?

Kaori: Just give me the damn pan.

She snatches a pan from Xuli's hands.

Few moments later.

Kaori: Here you go.

She gives both of them a plate with some red, rough and bad looking food.

Aniki: Is this even edible?

He pinches it with his fork.

Kaori: Let me see.

She lifts some food using a fork before shoving it in his mouth.

Aniki: Hey! Wait. This is actually good. (funny talk causes food in the mouth.)

Kaori: Now eat the rest before I shove it all down your throat.

She looks away with an angered expression.

Kaori: Sukikirai ga ōi. (Picky eater.)

Rosemary slowly flies towards Xuli.

Rosemary: Xuli-san. Do you see it?

She smiles before nodding.

After some days.

The four of them are laying in grass, gazing at the stars.

○ ○ ○

Kaori: Cool, we saw the stars. Now can we go?

Aniki: You've been laying there for less than 5 seconds.

Kaori: And I'm already bored.

Aniki: Can't you just enjoy mother nature for once?

Kaori: Seems like a waste of time to me. They're just stars. We see them every night.

Aniki: Do we gaze at them?

Kaori: I don't see what's different tonight.

Aniki: Do you need to be a buzzkill?

Rosemary: Should I step in?

Xuli: Nah. Let the love birds chirp.

Kaori: Still a waste of time.

Aniki: Granted it is, What isn't? In the grand scale of things, everything is.

Kaori: Living's not. We live from, for and because of hope.

She looks up at the stars.

Kaori: Our lives are limited. Shouldn't we utilize our time fulfilling our dreams?

Aniki: For all of us to die? We only get one life... so let's live it to our fullest... Together.

She changes her gaze to his direction.

Aniki: Life may be too short for us to see everything, but it's just long enough for us to enjoy the simple things we see. So, let's make lifelong memories... tomorrow we might not be able to. So, let's live a lot today.

She lies in the grass, close to him and continues gazing at the stars.

Kaori: I'm doing this, so you can shut up.

Aniki smiles.

Aniki: Sure you are.

Rosemary: Today was fun. Now only Kaori's backstory is left. Next episode preview, but I'm gonna go to prison for murder. Aniki and the others get lost in a magical forest.
