Fourteen

"We should get that love," Austin says climbing off me and heading towards the door. I sit up and swing my legs off the bed then lay back swinging my legs.

I hear Austin open the door and growl lowly. I quickly stand up and recognise the familiar scent, I rush to the door pushing in front of Austin.

There in front of me was a battered, bloody Tyson. He smiled when he saw me belfry collapsing to the floor.

"Shit! Austin help me!! We need to get him to the infirmary!" I shout getting on my knees to try and lift him up.

Austin sighs dramatically before picking him up but he stops and looks over me with a low husky growl.

"Go change." He said in a strained voice "I'll meet you there." and he heads off down the corridor.

I look down, oh shit I was going to go the infirmary with a short see-through nightdress and panties.

I run into my room, I grab some jeans and a jumper along with a pair of brown ugg boots. Then run to catch up with Austin.

5 hours. 4 cups of tea. 3 naps. 2 missed classes. 1 unconscious Tyson.

I glance up at the clock and sigh loudly and rest my head on my knees.

5:35pm

I lay my hand on top on Tyson's and look over him. He has wires in his arm giving him blood because of how much he has lost.

He has bandages around his chest and leg. The doc said that he must of been attacked and gotten into a pretty bad fight.

He has cuts and bruises scattered over his body that are slowly healing. He has a broken rib and a fractured knee bone.

I stand up taking the blanket that was wrapped around me with me, I folded it up and placed it on the chair. I walked over to Tyson and place a small kiss on his head.

I walk out of the room quietly and after giving one last glance to Tyson I walked out.

I was soon out of the infirmary and the sunset was turning into darkness. I walked along the forest edge towards the Academy.

I got there in record time and soon found myself walking a different way to my bedroom but instead to the roof where I was last night.

I slowly open the hatch looking into the darkness, thank you werewolf night vision! I stop at the railing and lean on it.

"Why." I whispered to nobody, the air flew around me making me shiver slightly. The stars glistened and the half moon sat up in the sky.

I look around the roof but stop when something catches my eye. Tied to the railing next to me was a piece of paper.

Curiosity took over making me edge closer to this mysterious piece of paper. I noticed neat writing on the front and gasped.

'Maia Athena Lily Adams.'

What? How did they know my full name? How the **** did whoever left this note know? This is really scaring me. How can they know? I didn't even know until my 18th.

I use to just say Maia Athena until I was 18 and they told me my last name, great orphanage right?

With shaking hands I reach over and grab the note. Standing up straight and taking a deep breath I open the note up.

'Dear Maia, I'm glad you have found this note and I am so sorry of what has had to happen for you to grown up as a normal wolf. I will tell you more as time goes by but for now my advice is,

Beware. Stay away from the west and south woods.

I'm sorry about the dreams, they are stronger now you are 19. The block on your mind is fading.

That's all for now, expect a note every night before midnight.'

I drop the note as if it burned me, I start hyperventilating. How did whoever this is know about my dreams?

What does he mean? My head is punching with all these new questions. What's happening?!

What did he mean about they wanted me to grow up as a normal wolf, am I not normal? Am I a wolf of legend?

"Maia?" A deep voice startles me and I fall to the floor, I grab the note quickly making sure to clutch it tight.

I look up to see a guard standing there looking very serious, I stand up still feeling overwhelmed.

"Yes." I whisper not quite trusting myself to speak incase I give away my fright. I don't want anyone panicking.

"Alpha wants your presence in his office now." He says stepping to the side as if telling me to go, I glance around to see if anyone is here.

How did they know I would be up here anyway?

"Maia?" The guard repeats looking wary not scanning the area, he grabs my arm and pulls my in before locking the hatch.
