"Yes Caleb, but you can't tell anyone. Okay?" Austin's finally says pulling me out of my thought. I stumble back slightly frightened of the sudden realisation.

Austin grabs my waist to steady me and looks at me with worry. "You okay Maia?"

I nod and blush red when I notice Caleb still starring at us, he cocks his head to the side curiously.

"I won't tell, see ya later bro." He says and walks off shutting the door behind him. Austin turns to me looking over my body as if checking for injuries.

"I'm fine Austin," I say giggling slightly "I just felt a bit out of this world."

He chuckles at my words and gives me a kiss on the lips. He groans loudly and I raise my eyebrow at him in total confusion.

"Jace needs me. I'm sorry love but I have to go." He says holding me close to him and not wanting to let go.

"It's fine I have class anyway, you've already made me miss one." I laugh and kiss him before grabbing my bag and leaving the office.

I head to the girls changing room where I meet Kaitlin and Lizzie, I high five them both then change into my kit. I hate what we have to wear, a pair of running shorts and a tank top. Even though it's Autumn buy werewolves have a higher body temperature than normal humans.

I redo my hair and put it in a high ponytail to make sure it stays out of my face because after all this is Phys Ed.

"This is going to be so shit." Kaitlin groans as we head out to the pitch with our long socks and trainers getting slightly muddy.

"Yes it will be." I agree as we stand together at the back, waiting for the teacher which happens to be the Beta Jace and the Delta Dylan.

I see them walking towards us but then I smell him. My wolf howls in happiness and I smile like an idiot as he comes nearer.

The 3 of them stand in front of the crowd of the rest of the 19 year old female students. We all stay silent and I can see all the females drooling over the 3 Greek gods in front of then.

My wolf growls angrily at them all for looking at our mate but I stay quiet even though I feel my blood start to boil.

"Good afternoon students, as this is your last lesson we thought we could run over time slightly. Alpha is here today to train you. This will be intense and you will want to give in but anyone who gives in will fail." Have speaks loudly above all the swooning girls.

Jace and Dylan step back and Austin steps forward. He claps his hands and looks around the group, I hide slightly because I don't want him to notice me incase.

"We'll start off with 2 laps of the pitch then drop and give me 50. Go!" He shouts and everyone is off around the edge of the track, I'm miles in front of everyone else and feel my blood rushing.

2 out of 35 have dropped out and sent back to the school with a fail. I finish and hunch over to catch my breath, Kaitlin and Lizzie are 10 minutes behind me.

"Fucking hell girl, you can run!" Lizzie exclaims collapsing to the floor. I roll my eyes and drop to the floor and do 50 push ups which I find much more difficult than running but I've trained my whole life its second nature to me.

The darkness of the hallways make me shudder in fear, I've always had a fear of the dark ever since I was little. It's not a fear of the dark itself but of what hides in the darkness.

I wonder around aimlessly trying to find my room but nothing looks the same in the dimmed lights.

I only when to get a glass from our dorms kitchen, each dorm has its own kitchen.

I see a door at the far end of the corridor with a light above flashing
'No Entry.' Well that's just an invitation.

I push it open and to my surprise it opens, I would of thought it would of been locked as its out of bounds.

I walk up a few flights of circular staircases until I find a hatch above my head, I bang it open and find myself on a balcony on the roof. There is a small cushioned swinging seat in the corner as well as a small table.

I slowly make my way over and sit on the swing seat, I look up at the glistening stars and think about how my parents are probably up there.

I feel the tears fall from my eyes unwillingly and go to wipe them away but before I could a voice startles the out of me.

"Maia?"
