I walked up to him with a sad smile on my face cause the devastation was evident on his face when no answer came
I slowly approached him and tried to hug him, but before I could, he slapped me and shouted at me
he shouted that it was my fault that my mother left
and then he started hitting me
he hit me, shouting it was my fault. i didn't do anything cause I just figured that he was just sad and needed someone to blame
so out of love I endured it all
but the beatings didn't stop, but still, I endured.
and 3 yrs after my dad remarried and I can assure you the man he married fit the description of a stepmom so I'll not describe
