I followed the human quietly, making myself invisible to the other humans. Well...I wasn't technically invisible, I was just not noticeable to them, I made myself seem like a completely normal, boring human to them. But we all know I was anything but that.

This human was certainly annoying, in all my centuries of being given sacrifices, this one had the balls to back talk to me. Me. Ravenor. The lords of the dark beings and darkness itself. To think a mere human like him would dare talk back to me. I scoffed at that thought. But it was alright, him being entertaining comes in his favor for me to let him live. That is why, I'm right now following this stubbornly good-looking human being like a dog. Without his knowledge, of course.

I watched as he walked mindlessly through the same block. Twice. Was he going crazy? I was told I had that effect on people, but this was just plain mad. I didn't even use my powers on him, and he was already going crazy.

So, I quickened my steps and started walking beside him, looking up at the gloomy sky before back at him, "Quite a cold day, huh?"

He looked like his soul was about to jump out of his body as he heard my voice.

"What the fuck are you doing here?"

Again with the curses. This human sure had a foul mouth to him. I sighed, before smirking, then slipping my arm to his waist.

"Oh, I have been here for a long time, love. Don't want my favorite human to get lost now, do I?"

Yes, in the last few hours of meeting him, I already made him my favorite human. He had a charm...I suppose.

He scoffed at my words, "Follow me, were you?" He asked as he tried to pry my hand off of his waist, but I didn't let go. "Of course, I was." I replied in ease, "Where were you going anyway?" I questioned before continuing. "Because in my adventure of following you, you circled this same block two times, three times now." He grumbled at my questioning. "None of your business, you demon" He said bitterly. I sighed mentally at his cold tone. Seriously a foul mouth this human had, I should just kiss the bitterness away. That idea made me smile more than I thought. I noticed his weirded out look from the corner of my eyes "What?" I asked, forcing myself away from my fantasies. "Nothing, just...you looked more like an idiot just a second ago than you do right now." He grumbled with annoyance.

"Was that a compliment?" I quipped, leaning closer towards his face. "That was definitely an insult" he retorted back in annoyance and I chuckled. Definitely loving this cat and dog play.

I kept on teasing him as I changed his route towards an ice-cream shop, he seemed to have only realized when we already stepped through the automatically opening doors. Humans surely have gone quite far in their technology.

"Why are we here?" He looked at me in shock. "To buy ice cream, of course." I answered, walking to the counter with him, my hand still on his waist. The worker there gave us a look, her eyes going to my hand on his waist and I just smiled leaning on the counter. "A mint chocolate chip cone for me." I said to the woman. Before looking at Ryan, let's have some fun, shall we? "And what would you like for yourself, my darling?" I pulled him closer to me, asking sweetly in his ears. He got tense at my sweet whisper. Cute. And mumbled. "Just chocolate..." absolutely fucking cute. After paying and getting out of my shop with our ice creams, I led the way back to his apartment. Nothing like enjoying a good ice cream in the winter with a human this interesting.
