How It All Started

'So how are you guys here?' I asked. At first I was shocked to see two more people in the van. One was a boy who was almost sixteen or so and.. a cut little four year old girl. It was astonishing to watch such an odd bunch of people together. 'We are here because of the apocalypse , obviously' the boy whom had said to shoot me said. 'But my question is how?' I asked annoyed by him. 'We will tell you but first let me introduce you' the girl said. 'Hi my name is Valerie, and this is my kid sister Chinni , that stuck up guy you might be thinking is Mason, the other is Josh and that is Officer Hoops but feel free to call him gun guy' Valerie said. Her silver blond hair was done in a ponytail and her green eyes were friendly but showed she had gone through a lot Chinni on the other hand was quite different. She had short, silky jet black hair and big grey eyed which sparkled with curiosity. She reminded me a lot of my sister , she was only a few years younger than my sister. The van was small but there were four now squished five mattresses at the back side. Near the front a shelf had been added where three bags were kept and I added mine to the pile. In the front where the wheel was there was a huge bag full of food. 'Hey Officer Its a good time to move now , I see some leftovers coming this way' Josh said. These guys had everything you would need in this situation- Transport, Weapons,Food,Comfort and seen talent.

Apparently as I could see these guys were a gang , everyone had a role to play like Officer Hoops was the defensive player of the gang, Mason was the offensive player, Josh was the sneaky attack player and Valerie was the brain behind it all and Chinni was the one who joined them together but me? What was I ? I was nothing just a heavy burden they had taken . But I have to change that I will show how useful I am whenever I get the chance. Officer Hoops started the van and we took the highway. 'You guys seem to know a lot more than I know' I assumed. 'Well yes we do but Val knows more" Josh told me. Even he was really kind. 'Yeah... I even know how this "thing" started' She said. 'Really?' I asked shocked. 'Yeah.. do you want to know?' she asked sadly.''Course I want to know who was stupid enough to start it.' I snorted.

She took a deep breath and said 'Well, do you know about that famouse crazy scientist Mister Snow?"she asked me.'Yeah I do. that guy invented that interstellar satellite which can go near the sun without melting.' I said. That person had created lots of cool stuff and as I remember he was Allison's role model this brought tears to my eyes but I blinked them away as I had to know who was brutal and who was to be blamed for her death. 'Well he created a monster..'
