I just finished another mission and was going to go home if Jaehyun didn't get to hold my shoulder.
"What is it?"
I growled as I was already in the state of both mentally and physically devastated, giving few goosebumps crawling on his skin.
He pulled away from his hand away before I could reach and tearing it up with my bare hand.
"Woah, easy there, tiger."
He smiled as Jaemin came to the frame, giving me a cold can of beer as I took it from his hand, cracked and chugging it along with them.
"It's been a long time since our last hangout, other than these missions, together, Jeno."
"Yeah, I know you have fiancée and such. But what about us, your friends, Jeno?"
I looked at them with reddish eyes. My glistening, shiny droplets of sweats on my forehead, cheek to my chin, showing them how tired I was.
"It's just that; I think it's a good thing if we spend our times with our loved ones."
"But, please don't forget us, too."
It was quiet for a while as I placed my hand on the table, tapping my finger in rhyme with my heartbeats as Mark decided to pipe in.
"How about if we make a trip with our fiancées and girlfriends?"

Lux was wearing silk, turquoise blue sundress with white sandals. Her hair was let down, and I had her bag placed inside the car.
"We have our villa, no need to worry about the place to sleep."
I said as I opened the car's door for her, closing it and then get to the driver's seat.
Not long after I drove from our house, the sky was crying its heart out, and Lux was enjoying it.
Guess, it reminded her a lot of our moments in our room.
Her head was leaning on the seat, sliding down on it as my grip from the steering wheel loosened up when we faced the traffic jam.
Putting my right hand on her thigh, I not taken aback when she moaned when my hand barely touch her after last night.
Lux was a compassionate, innocent, pure person. I met her when she was a freshman, and I was a junior.
She was at the corner, alone when her friend ditched her in Yuta's party. I came up to her, giving her a glass of sangria and invited her to outside.
I knew her a bit because we were in the same major and when Jaemin hit on her thrice and got also rejected thrice.
She told me that she was never into any party because she was homeschooled. Being in a university was the first time to her.
Surrounded by strangers, drunk people and ditched out by her friends. She was kind of scared and wanted to go home if she knew where she was.
It was quite easy to read this girl, but it was sure a maze to understand her. She was innocent and had a pure mind.
I clicked my tongue. It was like a cliché romance novel. A straight female student with no experience of the world and a bad boy who rides every day on his Kawasaki.
The second time I met her was when I got stabbed and internally bleeding. I had nowhere to run and just walked to a random house and banging on it.
It was an average size house, perhaps for a person or a couple. I kept banging the door and heard the faint sound of steps on stair, accompanied by ' yeah, a moment please ' and finding her again.
"He- Oh my gosh! Here, come in."
She helped me to get up while I was clutching my side. She placed me on the couch and closed the door before kneeling before me, inspecting my wounds.
"Take off your clothes."
She said as she walked upstairs to take the first aid kit while I was taking off my leather jacket and shirt. She disinfected my wounds and cleansed it gently.
"It's stung a bit, but I promise you it'll be better than letting it in contact with the air."
She said before bandaged my torso and making me a drink. By the way, she acted and talked, I knew she didn't remember me.
I meant, why would you remember someone who you met in your first party for a whole year.
Both of us were in silent as I was sipping the drink and realised she was staring at my body.
With a smile, I startled her by a question.
"Like what you see?"
"No, you're bleeding and need to be taken care. Nothing could I like from that."
I was quite taken aback because I never met any girl who talked like that to me until I met her.
She was sure not only pure but, also bright.
"How did you get stabbed?"
"Gang fight."
I replied, waiting for her reaction to be either shocked or pitying me. But, instead of that, only a mocking that came out from her strawberry chapstick coated lips.
"You're not only dumb. But also, reckless, huh?"
She smiled while covering her mouth with her thin, slim, petite hands when chuckles escaped from there.
"You're cute, what's your name?"
I asked as her chuckles stopped right away. I took that she was embarrassed because the tip of her ears was red.
"It's inappropriate to ask someone's name without giving yours first, stranger."
Well, she wasn't entirely wrong. I was a stranger, and I supposed to be grateful that she wanted to help me.
"My name's Jeno."
"Lux."
She reluctantly gave me her name. The way she bit her lips in anxiety, looking away from my eyes like prey that just caught and audible breath of her filled this room.
Thinking what to say so we won't be in this awkward moment longer, I asked her.
"Where's your parent? Don't you know it's dangerous of your parents to know you let a stranger in the house?"
She sighed before replied to my question.
"They're dead a few days ago."
Oh, that was for sure, an awkward first impression for me.
