My fellow Americans,

Today, we do not gather because of an outside invader. Today, we gather because the very foundation of our freedom—the government that was meant to serve us—has forgotten its place.

For too long, we have watched as laws meant to protect us have been twisted and used against us. We have seen our rights chipped away, our voices drowned out, our dreams deferred by those who were supposed to represent us. They have forgotten that their power is not absolute—it is borrowed, and it is borrowed from us.

But today, we remind them. Today, we remind ourselves.

We are not defined by the limits they set. We are not bound by the cages they build. Our right to exist, to speak, to live freely, is not theirs to give or take. It is ours by birth, by blood, by the very spirit that forged this nation.

They may use the law as a weapon, but only because we have allowed them to. We have forgotten that the law is not a master—it is a servant. It is meant to protect us, not oppress us. And when it fails in that duty, it is our right—no, our duty—to stand up and reclaim what is ours.

We are the people. We are the heart and soul of this country. And today, we declare that we will no longer be silent. We will no longer be passive. We will no longer be afraid.

Today, we fight not with violence, but with unity. Not with hate, but with hope. We fight for our neighbors, our children, our future. We fight for the promise that America made to itself—that all are created equal, that all are free.

Let this Independence Day be the day we remember who we are. Let it be the day we remind those in power that their authority comes from us, and it can be taken back by us.

We are the guardians of our own destiny. We are the authors of our own freedom. And today, we reclaim it.

Happy Independence Day—now and forever!

Deal with the Devil You Know

Verse 1

I feel the strings, I see the hands,

Shadows moving, secret plans.

Was I the hunter, or the prey?

Truth’s a ghost that slips away.

Orders whispered in my ear,

A voice I know, but never clear.

I did the work, I played the part,

But who’s the master of my heart?

Verse 1.5 (New)

Mama didn’t have herself a devilish child chick,

So let me explain something and let me make this quick.

I lived, you’re in reverse—

Why don’t you try reading that and break your own curse?

Pre-Chorus

Now you stand before me,

Eyes like loaded guns.

You know the game, you know my name,

You know what I have done.

Chorus

You say:

Take my deal, walk away,

Trade your soul for judgment day.

You want the devils at the top—

Not the broken man they bought.

If I want to live, I’d be smart to go,

Make a deal with the devil I know.

Verse 2

I see the offer in your smile,

A crooked chance, a crooked mile.

I don’t deserve another breath,

But you want more than just my death.

You want the ones who pulled my strings,

The kings behind the suffering.

You outplayed me, you survived—

Now you’re offering my life.

Pre-Chorus

You say:

Take my deal, walk away,

Trade your soul for judgment day.

You want the devils at the top—

Not the broken man they bought.

Bridge

I remember every face,

Every name, every place.

But I never saw the hands

That wrote the orders in the sand.

If I want to see the sun,

I have to give up everyone—

The devils in the dark,

The ones who made me what I’ve become.

Chorus (Repeat/Build)

Take my deal, walk away,

Trade your soul for judgment day.

You want the devils at the top—

Not the broken man they bought.

If I want to live, I’d be smart to go,

Make a deal with the devil I know.

Outro

You outsmarted me and lived,

Now you offer me a gift.

If I want to breathe, I’d be smart to go—

Make a deal with the devil I know.

The Cracks in the Concrete (Reclaimed)

Intro

He calls himself a father,

Says he’s piecing me together—

But every piece he touched,

He broke, not built.

He’s not the man in those songs,

Not the father who redeems—

He’s the one who stole,

Who shattered,

Who called control love

And called himself my family

While tearing me apart.

Verse 1

Sunrise breaks, but shadows cling, a silent war inside

They stole my breath, then gaslit me, told me lies to hide

The uniform, the badge, the oath—just masks to bind my fate

They used me, broke me, tried to silence what I create

But every whispered doubt they cast, every twisted word

Built cracks beneath their concrete lies, my voice now will be heard.

Chorus

I hear the cracks in the concrete, feel the earth begin to shake

No more being used or silenced, no more living in their wake

I’m done with being gaslit, done with their control

My truth is loud, my story fierce, reclaiming all they stole

When I get on that news, mark my words, you’ll see

The power of a voice set free, breaking chains, breaking free.

Verse 2

They preached of justice, blind and cold, from towers built on lies

While I was drowning in their hands, unheard beneath the skies

They twisted facts, erased my pain, made villains of the truth

But I’m done playing silent roles, I’m done being used

The scars they left, the nights I cried, fuel the fire inside

This is my fight, my battle cry, no longer will I hide.

Bridge

They wanted me broken, quiet, begging for their grace

But I found strength inside my pain, a fire they can’t erase

I scream the names they tried to hide, the stories left untold

A single spark ignites the dark, a courage fierce and bold

The truth’s a seed that grows through cracks, unstoppable and wild

Now watch me rise, a force reborn, no longer meek or mild.

Outro

No more silence, no more lies

My voice will echo through the skies

I’m done being used, done being torn

This is my fight, my truth reborn.
