It was so strange how their coven co-exist with me easily, like c'mon, if a vampire roam around our abode like this, i'm sure he/ she will be torn into pieces.
"what's wrong?" he shifted his gaze on me, cutting my steak into small bite size pieces.
"nothing. I'm just wondering on how long you're gonna pamper me like this. You know, i'm not a pup anymore" i muttered in a matter of fact tone. "and just to remind you, i'm not the submissive one on this relationship."
My word slipped on my lips like bullets from unresponsible gun-holder. When i realized what i had said, i almost bang my head on the table. But, too late! The devil himself was now smiling from ear to ear giving me a peak on his elongated fangs.
"oh yeah? Let's see then!" i know his challenge was a trap but, i can't help to bite back. What can i do? I am an alpha and it is in my nature to bite the head of any challangers in front of me.
I leaned closer to his, beathe turning to deeper ones as i started inhaling his scent. "yeah let's see" i smirked.
In just a heartbeat, i was ravished right where i am sitting. Arkyn's blood red eyes stared at me like i am his prey and at the same time, the only reason he was alive. He kissed me as if i am the only oxygen giving body on this earth and i'll be lying if i tell you that i am not ejoying every minute of this.
His kisses trail on my lips down to my jaw and now on my neck. Those sinful fangs scraped on my neck as if he was trying his hardest not to sink it on my pulsing veins.
We were too wrapped up at the moment that neither I nor Arkyn had heard todlers entering the dining room. Their laughters had stopped abruptly as they stared at us wide eyes. I practically push Arkyn as i focus myself on my steak as if it suddenly became the most interesting thing on this planet. Well, it is better than to see those wide eyed kids looking at us.
"K-ing Arkyn and Alpha Conrad" they greeted after recovering from that nerve wracking awkward situation.
Arkyn cleared his throat and i just slowly look at them and give a small smile to show that i acknowledge their presence but i was caught off guard when they grinned at me then ran off while cheering away. Actually, i didn't see any disgust on their eyes but happiness instead? What's wrong with those kids?
"ehem" Arkyn once again cleared his throat then nibble on my neck. "where are we again?"
Shiver ran up to my spine as blush found its way to crept unto my face. Darn it! This man was shaking my sanity! I harshly stood on my feet as i literally jumped away from him to the other side of the dining room.
"don't come near me you idiot!" i threatened.
But Arkyn, being the jerk he was. He just smirked at me as he stalk me like his precious prey. Damn! I'm doomed. But Conor being stupid, he found this exciting and chirped happily, he thought that our mate was playing with us.
"Gotcha!" Arkyn muttered in victory as he jail me on his embrace. Kissing my ears and nipping at it. Seriously? Arkyn's gaining new hobby.
"My steak! My steak!" i squeal trying to hide my moan yet he just kissed away my protest.
"forget the steak let's get down to dessert first" his husky voice was enough to make all my hair prickle.
His eyes dilated as lust hover everything in him. He wasn't playing anymore and i can say that me saying no isn't a great idea. My king was out of control and he's not up for restraining even in the least.
"a-arkyn" i called his name yet it slipped like a soft moan. My not so little, little Conrad was up now. Seems he's not the only one.
But when i started attending to his touch, he paled as if he'd woken up from his delusional dream. He stood up, running his hand on his hair.
"i-i lost control" he breathed.
