CHAPTER 8:

"Where am i?" i demanded.

Roaming my eyes around had me realizing that this isn't my room. Black heavy curtains and scented candles. Really?

"ok ok. I'll explain" he surrendered with a chuckle.

I'm a bit stupid for realizing it latter i admit. But you can't blame me, i'm really in an incoordinated state- and intoxicated- by his scent. I hear Conor huffed at the end of that thought. Honestly, most of the time i wanted to choke him to death for being so sarcastic.

"i hear you. you're calling for me so i immediately attend to you luckily, i've been wandering on the forest outside your boundery doing some business" he honestly told me yet i felt that something's missing on his story.

I shot him a glare. "And?"

"I enter your property and your room through the window"

"in other words, you trespass!" I huffed.

"yeah, something like that I guess." he shrugged tracing his fingers on my hair. "i found you on not so good kind of state but when i'm about to hold you, your beta entered your room" his voice suddenly seethed. "so to avoid further explanation, i'd just take you home"

I almost choke with his not so careful use of word. Take home? Really? Do i look like a burger or a fries from fast food chain?

"in short you trespass and kidnap their alpha? Wow! Wasn't something i expected from a king" i chidded.

Luckily, Gab was the one who sees us i don't need to worry about anything anymore, i know Gab got my back and he understand what i am going through right now. But this little escapade shouldn't last long. I should figure out my next move before everything had gotten worse.

His lips twitch upward giving me a dog-like smirk. "confine me then" his husky voice had given me goosebumps then he close the distance between us and i'm now staring right through his royal purple eyes. "cage me up my alpha" he whispered running his nose on my jaw line like he's been memorizing my very scent.

With a groan of bliss, i captured his lips, no second thought cause i want him to be mine. I wanted to mark him and that thought had my wolf all excited. He wanted our mate to mark us too as much as i'd wanted too. I'm practically rubbing myself on him now, printing my scent to mix along with his delicious smell because that's what i can only do right now. I don't want to complicate things more than it already is.

In the evening, me and Conor was feeling great like we could run a thousand miles without feeling exhausted in a bit. And Arkyn beside me, hugging me on my waist was the one causing it. The whole time, we just talk about ourselves like were on our first date well- minus the fancy dinner and everything but us. Only us.

Even Conor was so attentive with every bit of information he was telling us, he was even barking, snorking and huffing occasionally to express his opinion but most of it was a purr of complete bliss.
