*Class ended*

I rushed out of the university, my nerves frayed at the thought of what Kennedy might do to me.

I’d been cornered by his friends before—humiliated, my things thrown onto the street like trash.

[Fvck, why am I shaking crazily? Its not that I'm afraid of being beaten, am I?]

Luckily, the varsity team had been called in earlier, so I had a chance to escape.

Still, I avoided walking past the court. He was definitely there.

Should I consider myself lucky today?

Night fell...

And I buried myself in studying for tomorrow’s major exam.

There was no room for mistakes.

‎You should sleep, sweetheart. It’s late...

Mom reminded me from outside my door.

Troy

‎Yes, Ma. I’m almost done...

‎As I packed my things, ready to finally rest, my gaze drifted outside—to the house across from ours.

The lights in his room were still on.

Of course. Kennedy's house.

Our parents became friends because we lived right across from each other.

The only good thing was that Kennedy and I never left home at the same time—otherwise, he’d definitely find a way to embarrass me.

‎Wow, miracle. Looks like the idiot’s actually studying for once...

I muttered.

Must’ve gotten chewed out

I’d never seen Kennedy take academics seriously.

Basketball and his stupid friends always came first.

Just as I was about to turn off my light, movement at Kennedy's window caught my eye.

I thought it was just him—until I realized there was a NAKED girl pressed against the glass.
