3.

As soon as June left the school building, he saw Keats standing there. His eyes met with Keats' and he sent a small nod in his way. He was here to pick June up. June still had no idea about where they were going.

Keats motioned for June to follow him. They started to move away from the school building, side by side. Their hands accidentally brushing against each other, slightly. June looked at Keats and Keats looked right back at him. There was something about him that made June stare at him. It was different when their eyes met. A weird state of calm.

"Where are we going?" June decided to ask.

"Its a secret" Keats smiled a small smile.

June really was bad with suspence but he decided to quietly follow Keats.

Soon, after walking for about 15 minutes, they reached an abandoned park which was located in an almost abandoned side of the town. June looked at Keats with confusion.

"Welcome to my small world. Here, its just me and the sky. My piece of sky." Keats said, a smile so otherworldly that June had never seen on him. He knew instantly how important this place was to Keats. He smiled back.

"But why did you decide to bring me here? Aren't I intruding in your small world."

"No you're not", Keats replied quickly, then averted his eyes downwards; "I've decided to share this small piece of sky with someone afterall, it would be selfish to have this beautiful sky all for myself," a small smile played on his lips.

June hadn't felt such happiness in a long time. He almost ached with happiness. No one had ever shared something important to them with him and although he wasn't sure why Keats decided to do so and what any of this even meant, he decided to just live in the moment. He was there and Keats was there and the small piece of sky was their's and that's all that mattered, for now.

They sat on the grass and looked upwards, towards the sky. A feeling of contentment rising in their chests.

Keats looked at the boy beside him, with his face lit up with the last bits of sunlight. Keats looked at him when he put his hands up in the air, to feel the sunlight against his skin. Keats looked at how beautiful the boy looked, how golden and otherworldly his face looked, how his hands were holy in the sunlight. Keats did not understand what was going inside of him but he decided to brush it off.

"Its like everything in my mind has become less noisy", June said, his honeyed voice made something inside Keats ache. It was a sweet ache, filled with longing. A longing for what is something neither of them knew.

Soon, the sun went down. The sky, red for some moment. Then the dark blue came and engulfed the sky. Both of them watched it all happen. It was like watching the sunset with new eyes when you watch it together with someone.

Neither of them said a word. Sometimes, it was okay to not speak. The silence was sweet and no words were required between them.
