Keats was his usual self, or you could say his self which he showed to everyone else: the easygoing guy with 3 braincells at most, joking around with his friends in the classroom and throwing paper planes at the teacher.

The teacher too, was his usual self: bored and uninterested. Looking at everyone as if he won't mind if each one of these students dropped dead right now. He was speaking about world history which Keats swore, sounded just like blayblamBritainglombla.

In the very same class, June sat at the very back, knowing in his heart that this time too, he would have to self-study world history as this professor would not be of any help at all. Thinking about how late he would have to stay up to study made him sigh.

The class soon ended and everyone rushed out to finally breathe an air of relief. Keats decided to drop by the library to search for Ada Limon's 'Bright dead things'. The thought of reading the book in the comfort of his room made him happy.

June thought about borrowing all the books related to world history from the library. The library was on of the only places where he could truly relax from people's gazes. From a yonger age, June would feel terribly uncomfortable whenever he felt eyes on himself. At times he even froze as his hands got covered in cold sweat, the feeling of dread tightening his chest.

He rushed to the library, took all the needed books, and sat at the furthermost corner, near the window. He closed his eyes to listen to the sweet chirping of birds. At the same time, Keats finished his search for the book and started looking for a seat where lesser people were around.

While looking for the seat, his eyes fell on a strange boy sitting by the window with his eyes closed. He moved towards him, quietly so to not disturb the guy. He took a seat right in front of him.

Sensing this, June quickly opened his eyes only to find a guy looking at him strangely. a light red crept in his cheeks as he looked at this complete stranger, whose eyes didn't feel threatening but full of tenderness. He dropped his eyes.

"If you don't mind me asking, who are you?", asked Keats, his curious eyes boring deep into this stranger.

"Uh, I'm June. I'm in the same class as you," a small voiced June aswered back.

Keats' curiousity grew as he searched his memory for this guy but nothing came up. There's no way his eyes could have missed this guy sitting in the same class as him. This strange June guy was actually quite hard to skip over, with his caramel skin and protuding cheeks, Keats found his heartbeat quickening. He looked away.

"I don't think I've ever seen you before though. Do you have any friends?" Keats asked.

"I don't have any friends for now. I want to focus solely on my studies." June shot back, taken back by this stranger's rudeness.

June never had friends, the closest he had to a friend was his study partner in first year lf highschool. He never saw the guy again after that year.

When he saw people hanging around with their friends, a strange feeling of envy arose in his heart. He too, wanted someone he could confide in, someone he could talk about all the things he has never told anyone. That never happened though, he was always by himself, always busy with his studies and part-time jobs.

"Well, now you do. I'm Keats." Keats replied with a smile on his face. June's sad averted eyes, looking outside the window made Keats' heart ache.

June, shocked, met Keats' eyes as Keats got up to leave. "See you soon", said Keats, with his bright smile directed at June, shocking him even further.

June felt himself nodding at his words, a small smile spreading across his face. He had made a new friend.
