Namjoon (yawning softly): 🗨️Morning already…
🔲 The snow outside hasn’t stopped. Pale light floods the window. Namjoon sits on the edge of the bed in an unfamiliar room.
Kim namjoon(MC)
Namjoon (stretching): My body’s sore… this version of me must have run himself to the ground.
Kim namjoon(MC)
Namjoon (looks down): These callouses… piano fingers?
🔲 Downstairs, something clangs. A kettle? A pot lid?
Kim namjoon(MC)
Namjoon:🗨️ He’s awake.
🔲 Namjoon walks down slowly. The house creaks in soft, old protest. Yoongi is in the kitchen, pouring hot water over tea leaves.
Min Yoongi
Yoongi (not looking up): You slept past nine.
Kim namjoon(MC)
🗨️ Namjoon (lightly): Maybe I needed it.
Min Yoongi
Yoongi: Or maybe you were avoiding me.
Kim namjoon(MC)
Namjoon (blinking): …what?
Min Yoongi
🗨️ Yoongi (coldly): That’s what you do, right? Smile, nod, disappear. Leave things half-said.
Kim namjoon(MC)
Namjoon (softly): I don’t remember doing that.
Min Yoongi
🗨️ Yoongi (glancing up): Lucky you.
🔲 Yoongi sets two bowls on the table. Miso soup again.
Kim namjoon(MC)
Namjoon (trying to be gentle): 🗨️It smells nice.
Min Yoongi
Yoongi: 🗨️It’s missing salt. Forgot to buy it
Kim namjoon(MC)
Namjoon (taking a spoonful): It’s warm.
Min Yoongi
Yoongi (staring): You used to complain when I made this. Said it was “emotionally bland.”
Kim namjoon(MC)
Namjoon (choking slightly): That… sounds rude.
Min Yoongi
Yoongi (sighs): You weren’t wrong.
🔲 Namjoon watches him. Yoongi looks tired beneath the silence—his eyes are always on something behind him, or maybe on a version of Namjoon that isn’t here.
Kim namjoon(MC)
🗨️ Namjoon (softly): Do you hate me?
Min Yoongi
Yoongi (long pause): I don’t know.
Kim namjoon(MC)
Namjoon (quietly): Can we… try again?
Min Yoongi
Yoongi (pushing his bowl forward): You can start by finishing the soup.
🔲 A soft laugh escapes Namjoon’s lips. Yoongi hides a flicker of something with a sip of tea.
Kim namjoon(MC)
Namjoon (reading): “If your hands forget mine, I’ll still remember your tune.”
Kim namjoon(MC)
Namjoon (quietly): He wrote this for… me?
🔲 Footsteps behind him. Yoongi leans in the doorway.
Min Yoongi
🗨️ Yoongi: Don’t touch that. It’s unfinished.
Kim namjoon(MC)
Namjoon (apologetic): 🗨️Sorry. It’s beautiful though.
Min Yoongi
Yoongi (quiet): 🗨️It used to mean something.
Kim namjoon(MC)
Namjoon (turns): 🗨️Can I stay in this room sometimes? Maybe… we could finish it.
Min Yoongi
Yoongi (brows lift): 🗨️You sure you’re not gonna run halfway through?
Kim namjoon(MC)
Namjoon (gently):🗨️ I can’t run. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.
🔲 Yoongi says nothing. But he doesn’t say no either.
