All the wedding functions were happening at our home. The house buzzed with laughter, music, and colorful chaos.
It was my mehendi ceremony today.
Ladies were singing traditional songs, some were dancing in groups, and others sat in corners gossiping or sipping tea.
The mehendi artist was focused on decorating my hands, and I sat still, trying not to move. My heart fluttered for no reason as I heard someone call out his name.
