I know, Hana! But I’m already running late. Today's schedule is packed—patients, prescriptions, extra paperwork... you know the drill.

Haha, typical you. Just try not to get into any "devilish" trouble at the hospital today!

kim Y/N

Trust me, if there’s anyone who could stir trouble, it’s our dear Dr. Jimin. But I have to focus on work today. Promise I'll call you later, okay?

Alright, boss lady. Stay safe and don’t let the devil in the lab coat boss you around too much!

Bye for now, Hana. Talk soon! — Y/N signs off and heads out the door, determined to tackle another hectic day at the hospital.

Hospital Pharmacy – Mid-Morning

Y/N rushes into the pharmacy, slightly out of breath. She’s late—but not by much. Just enough to trigger that tiny worry that the “devil in the white coat” might notice.

Y/N's Friend (Mina):

"Finally! I thought you'd fallen asleep reading that novel."

kim Y/N

(rolling her eyes): "Almost did. That cliffhanger was brutal. I need the next part or I’ll lose my mind."

Y/N's Friend (Mina):

Laughs): "I know, right? The way the guy just left her with that one-line confession—ugh, I can’t!"

kim Y/N

"And the worst part? I feel like our own hospital has its own cold male lead…" (She subtly nods toward the glass door.)

Just then, Dr. Park Jimin walks in. Tall, sharp in his white coat, clipboard in hand, and with eyes cold enough to freeze boiling water. Both girls instantly straighten up.

Park jimin

(in a calm but commanding tone): "Pharmacy records for Ward 5—why aren’t they updated yet?"

kim Y/N

(politely, nervously): "I-I was just about to update them, sir. I’ll handle it right away."

Park jimin

(brief nod): "Make sure it's done within the hour. No mistakes."

He turns and walks away, leaving a slight chill in the air.

Y/N lets out a silent breath she didn’t know she was holding.

Y/N's Friend (Mina):

(whispers): "You’re way too polite to him."

kim Y/N

(murmurs): "Because I don’t want to be fired on my third week, Mina! He’s scary!"

Y/N's Friend (Mina):

"He’s just rude, not scary."

kim Y/N

"Tomato, tomahto. Devil, Doctor."

They both giggle silently behind their face masks.

kim Y/N

(mutters to herself): "One day, I’ll talk back to him. But not today. I like my job too much."
