It was their tradition. Going to temple together with family and offering what they had to the people who really was facing difficulties. Also to the people who were in need .

the temple bells rang out like a divine heartbeat, calling gods and mortals alike. The inner sanctum was fragrant with sandalwood, roses, and sacred basil. Aradhy stood bareheaded before the deity, draped in a simple white cloth. Abhisheka began as priests poured streams of holy water, milk, honey, ghee, and turmeric over a shining Shiva Lingam—each element purifying, invoking blessings for wisdom, courage, and truth. The sacred chants rose and fell like waves, echoing through the stone walls, while petals rained softly onto Aradhy’s bowed head.

Then came the Homa—a ritual fire kindled with mango wood and ghee. The 4 family members sat around the kunda (the set up for Homa) and prayed for each others well being . Flames danced wildly as mantras were offered into the fire, carrying intentions to the heavens. Priests invoked Agni, asking the gods to witness this moment:

Soon the Pooja got over and they distributed the prasad and went back home.

Usually people spend their birthday alone but Elinor family spend it together. They cook together, eat together, play together. That day will be a holiday for all the workers of the palace as they want to do all the things they can with each other . Not only them also their friends are invited so that it will be a whole complete family gathering.
