The scent of espresso filled the air as sunlight poured through the tall kitchen Windows. The Romano houshold was never quiet in the mornings, but it always warm.

Damien sat at the dinning table dressed sharply in his black shirt, shipping his coffee while scanning through the surgery schedule on his tablet. Across from him Adrian stood by the doorway, fixing his cufflinks, a lether folder tucked under his arm.
