He sat behind his glass desk, a sleek pen tapping rhythmically against the table. His eyes weren’t on the stock report Yoongi had handed him. They were on something else entirely.

The one who’d rushed toward him, calling him “Ajusshi,” cheeks puffed, hoodie too big, eyes sparkling like the morning sun. The one who’d scooped up a real bunny and cradled it like it was the most precious thing in the world.

“Taehyung.” Yoongi’s voice broke his focus. Calm, as always.

“You didn’t look at the projection report.”

Taehyung blinked, then slowly turned to him. “Yoongi.”

“I want every camera feed from that park. three days back.”

“Yes. A boy. He was with a bunny.”

Yoongi raised a brow but didn’t ask more. He knew Taehyung well enough.

Taehyung leaned back in his chair, lips curving into something unreadable. “There’s something about him… I want to know everything.”

Yoongi sighed, already pulling out his phone. “I’ll have it by the afternoon.”

By lunchtime, Taehyung had a file on his desk. Not thick, but detailed.

Taehyung’s eyes paused on the second name: Jeon Jungkook.

“So... there’s a twin,” he murmured.

The photo showed Jungkook standing behind Justin protectively. His eyes were sharp, almost unreadable — nothing like Justin’s open innocence.

Taehyung leaned back, fingers brushing his lips in thought.

“He applied for a job here. Small world.”

Still, it wasn’t Jungkook that held his attention.

“The eyes that called me ‘Ajusshi’... the giggle… that’s who I want to see again.”

But now, he had names. And names could lead to everything else.

That evening, Taehyung didn’t drive straight home.

He returned to the park. It was quiet now. No bunny. No boy.

He looked around like he was hoping Justin would pop out from behind a bench, giggling and yelling “Ajusshi!” again.

He didn’t.
