Chp 4 : I Hope Not

Alarm ringing wake me up to enjoy fresh morning. I reach the alarm and push the button stop.

*KNOCK*

"Amy, it's time to take a breakfast"

"okay mom, I will get down soon"

You know, we should give a little pressure to our muscle before start the day with...

"aaahhhhh", stretching on the bed.

"auchhh!!, my back.."

(fuhh... I will take extra physical classes later)

Hmm.. my eyes can't open, my mouth keep yawning, my throat is dry, and my back still in pain. Aihhh.. This weekend gonna make me rest for a year. I lay back and wish to take a short nap but...

*KNOCK LOUDLY*

I stand up surprise and slaps my face repeatedly. Acting skill would be good skill to express right now.

"yes?!!"

"open the door!"

I open the door.

"what wrong dad?"

"go eat your breakfast, it getting cold, soon it not taste good"

"okeyh, dad", smile show off teeth

"uusshh, brush your teeth first before eat"

"ha ah he, okie dokie", this is embracement.

I just let go everything and straight to the toilet. Washing my face, brushing my teeth and... popping hehehe.

*Grrrr...* my stomach growl.

(aww.. I so hungry better faster)

I skip and run down through the stair unluckily I bump to Elly.

"HEY!!"

"sorry sis, I didn't see you"

"oh! its okays, the food almost cold... you want me to heat for you"

(WAIT!!!, what? wait the minutes.. how can she be this good to me??.. why...?? maybe mom had talked to her...?? mmm....)

"hey" she pats my head.

"do hear me out?"

"Oh!! yes.. Yes please?"

"hmm... sit first while I reheat this meal.."

She takes all foods on the table and put one by one inside microwave.

"today, mom cooks toast with half-boiled eggs, hope you like it"

"I don't mind... anything can be my favorite food"

"like old times huh?"

"hah..", a little smile create on my face

(she still remember it.. perhaps she want to make up back... should I ask her about last night?)

"sis.. I want to ask something.. can I??"

She nods as sign she please to hear my question.

"actually about last... no.. hmm... do you have any...", hesitate.

(what wrong with my lips it getting vibrate? nothing come out from my mouth although I feel my mouth seal by itself, why?? it's because I'm too afraid... but what is the thing I'm afraid of?? Elly?? but... wait!! every time I mention her name, my heart beat strongly like I really scared of her?? maybe our relationship not like old time.. thats why I somehow feel I talk to stranger... but right now is the best times to talk about this.. I must...)

"what are both of you chat about?" dad approach to us.

Suddenly, Elly end our interaction and exit the kitchen with mad face. Dad just sighs and tightening his neck tie while getting ready for his morning shift.

"dad will continue work until night so don't wait for me lunch and dinner"

"okays dad",

My habit before dad going to perform his duty as police officer are kiss good bye and hug. I love my dad so much well he's has become my priority since when i still kid and I will try to give everything I could to make him happy.

"nah.. eat well" pat my head.

(when they will stop acting like a child... it's fun ignore each other?)

Hmm.. let's eat first worry later. I grab toaster, put peanut on half of bread and cover another half with strawberry's jem. It taste amazing when we mix both of that ingredients.

"aummm", licking lip.

"hah!!"

"*ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!"

"mommm!!! this is not funny... I almost get a heart attack because of your action"

"hahahaha... you still young okays don't pretend like an old woman..."

"hahahaha... I joking mom*"

Mom take a seat next to me. She take a glass of plain water and drink it faster.

"*ahh, so hot outside"

"you working with the flowers?"

"yes, today those flowers need a lot of cares, I need to add more fertilizer even it poison too.. After that, any death plants should be remove immediately so it will not affect others... hah... Amy.. you should grow fast and help me OK??"

"hehehe... what if I don't want to grow up*..", try to tease mom.

"hmm.. if Amy don't want to help me it okays... huhuhu.. maybe you don't love me anymore huhuhu..."

"I didn't say I don't what to help you... right now I can help you.!!."

"your bone not strong yet... you will easily get exhausted... maybe you will pass out after lift one of my pots"

"hehe hehe... okay I will do anything for you"

"hah! thats my girl... nah eat more... eh, you didn't take this eggs... it good for your help", mom pass to me another toast bread together with eggs.

"I will gain weight mom..."

"no you wouldn't... this healthy food can give you more energy when you become adult"

"mommm!!!",

She never listen to me. What if I get fat back, OMG.. I really can't imagine that, the tiredness of having exercise is the most uncomfortable feeling.

Breakfast time has past, the clock has show around 11 am. Out of the blue, my stomach feel upset and I keep fart every minutes. This must be mom's doing. AHHH!! it really hurt, I climb the stairs hurriedly and almost miss step but my mind just thinking about this pain only. When I arrive, at toilet door... it lock..??

*BUMP* *BUMP*

"who's inside??, I really need to use toilet"

The door unlock, Elly come out from the toilet with red eyes and nose. What happen to her? but that later.. I still need to finish this stuff first. After for a while, I'm done, need to wash my hand with soap.

"fuhh!! thats hard"

Pull a piece of tissue from it roll, wipes carefully to remove pop's bacteria, must throw trash into rubbish bin and notice something inside the bin.

"eh!! what's that?"

Take out a rectangular thing with two alike lines on it but it smell gross like urine. What a second!!, I think I had see it somewhere. I quickly bring it to my room and check science's textbook. I spot something that look similar to that thing.

"oh my god!! is this!!! but.. who's?? it's mom?? but Elly.. use before me.. it's her?? no.. I hope not please god".
