The black car cruised down the empty road, its headlights slicing through the darkness. The driver—an unknown figure—gripped the wheel loosely, his eyes scanning the surroundings. Then, he spotted him.
A lone figure walking like a ghost in the rain, head down, completely oblivious to his surroundings.
Slamming the brakes, the driver stopped the car right in front of him and stepped out.
