Welcome To Hell
Everyone present in the hall got up from their seats in order to welcome me, the bride for tonight.
My heart was thumping loudly inside my chest. I could not believe this day came so soon.
Like they say, every little girl dreams of getting married to her prince charming someday. That day, is going to be the best day of her entire life. In my case, the story is a little different.
I'm not marrying my prince charming, but the nightmare of my life. This wasn't going to be the best day of my life. Instead, it was going to be the worst day I'd ever live.
Gulping all nervous, as I walked down the aisle, I looked in front of me. Atharva Singhania was standing there with a plain poker face looking at me, as I slowly walked up to him on the aisle.
Yes, I was getting married to Atharva Singhania, the heir to the powerful mafia throne handling his father's empire in Goa, which also explains this Christian wedding. He is powerful and his power and money purchased me into being his wife for the rest of my life.
I finally reached the end of the aisle, before Christ and Father Shepherd and I looked up behind Atharva. I saw Naksh and my heart started to ache. A LOT.
Father Shepherd
Friends, families and fellowmen. We have gathered here today for the holy matrimony of Miss Pihu Shrivastava and Mr. Atharva Singhania.
I looked up at Atharva and then reflexively my eyes swayed back on Naksh standing behind him. I could see his eyes screaming at me, wanting me to stop
But I couldn't stop it. My father owed Atharva a lot and to pay him back, I have to go through this, even if I like it or not.
Father Shepherd
Do you, Mr Atharva Singhania, take thee Miss Pihu Shrivastava as your lawfully wedded wife in sickness and in health until death parts you?
Father asked Atharva and his eyes immediately fell upon me making me shift in my heels. The corner of his lips curled up into a twisted smirk as he replied.
I had promised myself that I wouldn't cry today, but a lone tear escaped my left eye as soon as I heard those three words from him.
Father Shepherd
Do you, Miss Pihu Shrivastava take the Mr. Atharva Singhania as your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health until death parts you?
I looked behind Atharva at Naksh and saw him looking at me as well. But, as soon as our eyes met at that question, Naksh turned around and left somewhere behind the stage.
Father Shepherd
Miss Pihu? Do you take Mr. Atharva Singhania as your lawfully wedded husband?
I replied and just like that I was his
Father Shepherd
With the power invested in me, I now pronounce you both, husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride.
With that, I saw Atharva take a step forward, towards me. He slowly wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me intimately closer to himself.
I clenched my eyes and forwarded my face so he could have this kiss with me, no matter how unwilling I was.
And just like that we kissed.
Right after we broke the kiss, Atharva leaned into my head to whisper something in my ears.
Atharva
Welcome to hell, better-half!
I saw the scariest smirk pulled across his thin lips this time.
