At night in C City, the lights shone brightly and the traffic was endless. Gleaming shop windows, gorgeous billboards, and colorful neon lights; Taehyung walked on the vibrant commercial street, following the map navigation, and finally found a mobile phone business office.

It was a little late, and there were only a few people there.

A salesperson asked, "Sir, may I know what business you're handling?"

"Printing communication records. Can you print out deleted numbers?"

After a long time, Taehyung finally printed out the list. He walked out of the business office.

The streets were still buzzing with noise and brightly lit, lengthening his shadow. Taehyung scrolled down the list of numbers and finally stopped at one spot.

The call went through. It rang for a long time, many times, but no one answered.

Taehyung bit his lip, lowered his eyes, and finally put down his phone. He found a hotel to stay at. After taking a shower, he lay on the bed. Waves of exhaustion rolled over him, and he fell asleep with a frown.

He was too fatigued. In the blink of an eye, he had lived his entire life and returned to his previous life. he dreamed of Jungkook and of himself in a wedding dress.

A white dove flew by the church. Taehyung was wearing a white wedding dress. he looked at the man in a white shirt in front of him.

"Jeon Jungkook, how much more do you have to say? Say it all now. I'm getting married. Don't come looking for me again."

Jeon Jungkook/Alpha

"Don't marry him." He used a pleading tone.

Kim Taehyung/Omega

Taehyung looked at him, unmoved. "Why can't I marry him? Then should I marry you? I don't love you."

Jeon Jungkook/Alpha

"I'm willing to fight for you and for your love. Why can't you see it."

Kim Taehyung/Omega

"No, I hate you... Can't you see I have a fiance."

Jungkook begged him. Jungkook loved him deeply and bitterly. But Kim Taehyung still left.

He kept watching him walk towards another man.

What kind of gaze was that? It was filled with sorrow, pain, and despair. It was as if he had lost everything and the world had collapsed.

The ache in his heart seemed to weigh thousands of pounds. Taehyung suddenly woke up and panted a few times, his face covered in sweat. His phone suddenly rang.

Three words appeared on the screen: Jeon Jungkook.

The light from the phone screen illuminated the bed. Taehyung's lips were a little pale, and his messy long hair covered half his face. he silently pressed the answer button.

The heavy curtains blocked out the light, and the room was dark and silent. The strong smell of alcohol filled the entire space. Jungkook thought that he was dreaming.

After Eunwoo heard his words, he exhaled deeply, 📞"Jeon Jungkook! You'll d*e in his hands sooner or later!"

Taehyung found out from other people's friends that Jungkook had returned to the country. He had not gotten any sleep and had thought about it the whole night.

He had thought many things through. Although he was physically exhausted, his mind was unusually clear. He sent Jungkook a message, asking him to make a trip to B.Square's elegant dining restaurant at 12 pm. He had something to say to him.

At around 11 am, Taehyung checked out of the room and went over. He arrived almost ten minutes earlier. Taehyung saw Jungkook the moment he entered.

He seemed to like wearing white shirts very much, his rolled up sleeves revealing a watch on his left wrist. He waited quietly for a long time. His gentle gaze never showed any impatience towards him.

Taehyung did not know why Jungkook liked him so much, so desperately.

"Sorry, I'm late." Taehyung sat opposite him.

Jeon Jungkook/Alpha

"Are you hungry? I've ordered some dishes. Come and have some." Jungkook said gently.

Taehyung looked at the dishes served by the service staff. They were all his favorite light flavors. Taehyung's eyes dimmed slightly. He had ignored Jungkook in the past and naturally ignored everything he had done for him.

Even Jaehyun, whom he had loved unconscionably, thought that he liked spicy food. When he opened his eyes and compared them, he realized how stupid he was.

"I asked you over today..."

"Why don't we eat first?" Jungkook interrupted him with a cautious pleading look in his eyes.

It was as if he was extremely afraid that he would mercilessly leave after speaking his mind.

Jungkook tentatively picked up some steamed sea dumplings for him. Taehyung looked at the fresh and tender dumplings in his bowl. He paused for a moment and picked up his chopsticks to eat.

Jungkook's dark lashes fluttered. They ate in silence.

Until someone walked past Taehyung in a hurry and bumped into him. Taehyung's body tilted, and the porcelain bowl he touched made a loud clatter.

Shi Muzhen

In a show of poor acting, that person widened her eyes. "Kim Taehyung, why are you here? Jae Oppa! Come and look at this!"

Taehyung looked up indifferently. The person who bumped into him was Park Shuyue's good friend, Shi Muzhen.

Park Shuyue and Park Jaehyun were walking over together.

Shi Muzhen

"Wow, some people still have the nerve to come out? Didn't I hear that he was chased out of the house with no money? he might not be able to pay the bill when the time comes."

Shi Muzhen

Shi Muzhen eyed Jungkook and said in a voice that everyone could hear, "Oh, so you found a backer. You ran away from the marriage because of him? Only blind people will like you, right?"

Jaehyun gave a sharp look.

Kim Taehyung/Omega

Taehyung wiped his hands. "Miss Shi, let me introduce you to President Jeon of Jeon Group."

Shi Muzhen

Shi Muzhen was about to rebuke him. 💭What did he mean by that? Only he could know Jungkook?

It was only then that she realized that the person she had been talking about in a sarcastic tone earlier had such a rich and powerful corporation behind him that her own family was not qualified to collaborate with them. Shi Muzhen's face turned pale when she thought of her father trying all ways to get in touch with Jeon Group.

Park Shuyue didn't like Taehyung, but she liked the way Taehyung flattered her and fawned over her for her brother. This time, Taehyung didn't even look at her.

"Brother! Look at him!" Shuyue tugged at Jaehyun's sleeve. "I can't even say anything."

Park Jaehyun/Alpha

Jaehyun's sharp eyebrows showed his impatience. "Kim Taehyung!"

Jeon Jungkook/Alpha

"Park Jaehyun."

Jeon Jungkook/Alpha

His gentle voice did not lose out to the other party's deep voice. Jungkook asked, "Is this Mr. Park's demeanor, not bothering to differentiate right from wrong?"

Kim Taehyung/Omega

"He's probably uneducated. Jungkook. let's go. Let's talk elsewhere." Taehyung took the lead and walked forward.

Jungkook took the suitcase from him. Jaehyun grabbed Taehyung's wrist and looked at Jungkook coldly.

Park Jaehyun/Alpha

He asked Taehyung, ❄️"What's your relationship with him?"

Park Shuyue /Jaehyun Sister

Shuyue interrupted indignantly, "What relationship can there be? Most likely, some people have fallen in love with someone else."

Taehyung hated the way Jaehyun aloofly interrogated him. He would never be wrong. He would always be on the moral high ground.

If there was a conflict, he would let you calm yourself down. If there was a mistake, he would let you reflect on it. If you showed him a lot of love, he would give you back a little as though giving to charity.

Later on, Taehyung realized that even for that last point, it was simply a delusion to comfort himself.

"Feng Yoona from Grampian Garden, do you understand if I give you this prompt?" Taehyung turned his head and saw his eyes narrowing.

He struggled to break free from his grip. "Perhaps I once loved you, but from now on, you and I are no longer related. Please don't bother me again."
