The doctor gave him a reassuring smile before walking into his office. Jaden wipes the tears that had trailed down his eyes. He was overwhelmed with joy, he turns back to the seat and sees that Nyx had fallen asleep with both her arms and legs crossed

Jaden gazes at sleeping Nyx with gentle eyes, and he hesitates before lifting her up, bridal style, and sending her to the car.
He drives them to her mansion, unlocks the door with his fingerprint she had registered into her house system, found her room after 10 minutes of searching before tucking her in.
He leans in gently and pecks her forehead quickly before heading home. Once he got home he collapsed on his bed, not even bathing or eating and fell asleep
