Episode - 3

So now I'm going with Kristi to her apartment in my car. She's driving. We are silent for a pretty long time. I think she doesn't dare to start a conversation after what happened tonight. But eventually she talked.

Kristi : Lea are you okay? You haven't spoken at all since we got on the car. You're scaring me.

Me : I'm fine. It's just......I don't know.....feels really bad. Hah! And my dumb *** actually thought he loves me.

Kristi : Seriously Lea? You're still sad thinking about James. He's completely toxic. He doesn't deserve you. You're way lot better. Forget him already.

I started laughing out super loud.

Kristi : What are you laughing at? If it's because you realised you utterly ugly your ex boyfriend is then that's ok with me.

Me : No! It's just your consolation.

Kristi : What's wrong with my consolation? That's the best I can do while I drive.

Me : Hahaha. You're the best Kristi.

I hugged her super tightly. She probably couldn't breathe. But I wasn't willing to let her go.

Kristi : Ow god! Lea !! Release me. I'm trying to drive here. You're gonna get us killed.

At Kristi's Apartment

Kristi : Lea.........you take the guest room. But if you want we could have a little slumber party in my room. You've just got your heart broken so you should cheer up a bit.

Me : It's okay Kristi I'm a bit tired after the party so I'm just gonna go bed early.

Kristi : You sure?

I noded my head yes.

Kristi : Okay then I'll bring some clothes for you after a while.

Me : Thanks..........

Huh.........I told Kristi that I'll be okay. But as soon as I closed the door of my room, all my emotions flooded out of me. I realised that it won't be easy to forget him. "Why would you do this to me James? I loved you so much. And you just ended our 3 years of love with the snap of a finger? "these were the questions going around my head the entire time. I cried all night. Didn't dare to close my eyes even for a second.

Next morning I got up and was about to go back home. I'll have to face Silvi someday. So there's no point of running around. As I took a look in the mirror, I just realised my eyes have completely swelled up from all the crying last night. Well I guess it's gonna be a daily issue now.

In The Thomas Mansion

I've arrived and I'm going straight into the house. As I enter through the doors I saw my steps mother Mrs. Linda ( yah I don't call her mom) and Silvi standing in the center hall giving me the eyes full of hate. I've decided to ignore them and go to my room. But I got interrupted in midway.

Mrs. Linda : Where have you been yesterday night? Care to explain why haven't you return home the whole night?

Me : I stayed with Kristi in her apartment. And to remind you that's none of your business.

Mrs. Linda : Bitch what do you mean by it's none of my business? It is. I'm the owner of " Thomas Company " . You have to give me an explanation of all your whereabouts from now on or else I'm gonna kick you out of the house.

Me : Excuse me? First of all you are not my boss so I'm not accountable to you. And secondly who said you're the owner of " Thomas Company " ? My dad left the company for me and he signed it in my name before he died. So you don't have the right to call yourself the owner plus this house is also the property of the company so you can't kick me out either.

Mrs. Linda gave an evil smile as if she had something planned. She came closer and while twisting my hair in her finger started to talk again.

Mrs. Linda : What prove do you have that the company belongs to you?

Me : I have the documents dad signed before he died. I'll show you.

I ran upstairs to my room and started to look for the documents. I opened my drawer and discovered the documents weren't there. I could swear I put them right there. Maybe I've put it somewhere else. I started to look around to find the document. Silvi standing outside my room, holding on to the documents knocked on the open door. I immediately looked at her.

Silvi : Looking for these?

Me : Yah! Why do you have it? Give it back.

Silvi : Not so easily.

She took the papers and threw it in the lightening fire place in my room. All of papers burnt down as soon as they came in contact with the fire.

Me : Why did you do that?

Silvi : Oopsie! I'm so clumsy. I guess you aren't the owner of the company anymore.

I ran downstairs and Mrs. Linda was smiling at me.

Mrs. Linda : Find anything?

Me : You did that on purpose, didn't you?

Mrs. Linda : So what if I did?

Me : How did you know where I kept my documents?

As soon as I said that I heard James talking. I turned around and saw him entering the front door.

James : I told her!

Me : What? Why? So you were playing with me from the beginning?

James : Do you still have any doubt?

Mrs. Linda : Lea Thomas! Now since you don't have any prove that you're the owner of " Thomas Company " , so that means I'm it's owner. So, for your displeasing behavior I declare that you are no longer allowed in this house.
