Danish Apologizes
Tanya and Danish were couples since class Vth. It had been 6 years since. When Tanya started dating him she was not sure about being with him but slowly, she too started to like Danish back
Soon the classes were over, and the school was dismissed. Khushi came out of the school.
Khushi was feeling low as she had no one's company to the school bus. Usually Tanya and Danish used to be with her, but today she was walking alone
Heavy hearted she entered inside her bus
She got settled beside the window and immediately opened the window to let in some air

(Geez. Today was really bad at school)
Khushi reached home after an hour.
Khushi entered her house and announced her presence.
Khushi's Mom
Go and get ready fast. I'll get your food prepared and keep it on the dinner table. I really need to head back to the office.
Khushi came back from her room and looked at her mom hurrying around.
Khushi
Office? But it's your break right now.
Khushi's Mom
I have something come up at work and I need to rush back.
Khushi's Mom
Okay, I need to reach there in fifteen minutes and I can't find my glasses?
Khushi went to her mom and removed her glasses from her forehead and put it on her eyes

There you go. Seriously. Sometimes you really make me worry.
Khushi
Why did you come back when you had work? Huh?
Khushi's Mom
(chuckles) That's because I love you. And I need to see you after you return okay. I know it's depressing to open the door for yourself when you return from a hard day at school.
And her mom kissed her forehead

Mom? Don't you have something important at the office?
Khushi's Mom
Oh, no. I'll be leaving now. God! I'm so late. Have lunch properly and leave for your coaching okay?
Khushi ate her lunch and went to bed. But she could not sleep. All she could think about was Tanya and Danish.
Khushi
(I feel so bad about Tanya's break up. I know it's weird that I am feeling bad but the one who broke up is my best friend. God! This is so bad. I really worshiped both of them. And then she was just so much in love with him. Then why? Why would she break up like this?)
Khushi didn't feel like doing anything. So, she picked up her phone and thought of watching something, but she could not find anything to do on her phone too.
She came back to her common room and threw her phone on the sofa and sat down to watch TV. She was only shuffling through the channels as she could not find anything worth watching.
Khushi
Aah. This is so annoying. Why is there nothing that can take my mind off Tanya and Danish!
Khushi screamed alone and switched off the TV and lied down on her bed and started staring at the sealing fan. A few seconds later, her cell phone started ringing.
Danish
Err... Hey! It's me. Danish.
Khushi
Oh, Hi! I'm sorry I didn't have your number saved.
Khushi
Is everything okay?
Danish
Uh... yeah, everything is fine.
Danish
Listen Khushi? I'm really sorry for whatever happened today at the school.
Khushi
