Although it was the start of autumn, the city of Haicheng rained heavily for a few continuous days, causing the whole city to be enveloped in mist and the air to be especially humid and cold.
Once he exited the cafe, Kim Taehyung felt the chill in the air.
Minho rushed out of the cafe and grabbed Taehyung who was holding up an umbrella.

*Minho's lips trembled as he wanted to reply yes, but he was afraid that answering without hesitation would cause his love to sound shallow. As he wavered, his almond-shaped eyes turned red and a teary mist covered them, making him seem all the more delicate and pitiful in the rain.*

*His fair, slim fingers gripped tightly onto the umbrella, his knuckles turning white. His gaze was clean and calm as he waited for Minho's reply.*
Minho said nothing for a long time; Taehyung turned to leave, yet when his gaze fell on the other side of the road… on the tall brooding man standing beside the Bentley, he paused in surprise.
The black car was parked right underneath the streetlight. The orange light scattered amongst the raindrops to create a soft, misty halo that landed on the man’s broad shoulders, outlining his tough facial features.
A man with such outstanding looks and a strong stable aura would shine wherever he was, to the point where he was impossible to ignore…
