taehyung

You okay?

jungkook

(quietly) Why’d you smile at Jackson like that?

taehyung

(confused, then smiling) You jealous?

jungkook

*blinking* no,i am not *caught*

taehyung

(walking over, teasing smile) You totally are. It’s kinda cute.

Jungkook looks away, jaw clenched, but his ears are red again.

jungkook

He flirts with everyone.

taehyung

But I don’t smile at everyone.

A pause. The room gets quiet. Taehyung’s smile fades into something softer. He reaches out — barely brushes Jungkook’s knuckles with his fingers.]

taehyung

(softly) If it makes you feel better… I don’t see him the way I see you.

jungkook

(stiff, heart thumping) How do you see me?

taehyung

Still figuring that out. But it’s… loud.

They stare at each other. Long. Heavy. And then the moment passes — Jungkook looks away, and Taehyung lets him go. For now.
