🌧️ Morning — After the Rain

Jungkook woke up in Room 108, wrapped in two blankets — one clearly folded around him like a cocoon, the other tossed carelessly over the edge.

Taehyung stood at the small window, hair damp, wearing a hoodie that definitely wasn’t school regulation. He sipped from a steaming mug and didn’t turn around.

Jeon Jungkook

You folded a blanket around me *said, voice still husky from sleep*

Kim Taehyung

No, I didn’t

Jeon Jungkook

*Sat up, smirking* Okay. Must’ve been the rain spirit then.

Silence stretched between them. Then

Kim Taehyung

You talk in your sleep

*Froze* Wait, what did I say?

Kim Taehyung

Nothing I understood

Just... poetry. Something about skin and storms.

Jeon Jungkook

*Flushed red to his ears* Cool. Totally normal. I have poetic nightmares.

Taehyung finally looked at him — and for a moment, the silence felt full again. Full of things neither of them had the courage to say.

👀 Meanwhile... Back at the Student Cabins Mina slammed her journal open.

We are officially entering Phase Four: Spy, Decode, and Strategize.

*Raised a hand* Shouldn’t we chill? They literally got stuck in a rainstorm together last night.

Mina

*Peered up from his sketchpad* I saw Mr. Kim this morning. He made Mr. Jeon tea.

Mina

*Gasped* You WHAT!!!

Soobin

I think it was ginger

*Nodded solemnly* That’s boyfriend tea.

They gathered around like a mini war council.

Mina

Operation Taekook has progressed beyond Phase Three. *whispered* We might be approaching Critical Softness.

🌿 Midday – On the Trail.

The group went on a short hike after breakfast. Jungkook, still glowing with morning energy, bounded ahead with the students, pointing out flowers and narrating random facts about tree bark like it was a national treasure.

Taehyung trailed behind, clipboard in hand, but every time Jungkook laughed — even from twenty feet away — his eyes flicked toward him.

At one point, Jungkook stopped to tie his shoe. He wobbled slightly on one foot, and Taehyung instinctively reached forward, steadying him with one hand on his arm.

Just for a second.

Both of them froze

Thanks *said quietly, heart thumping, red ears*

*pulled his hand back*

Jeon Jungkook

*smiled* Only when something’s worth falling for.

From behind a tree, Mina scribbled in all caps: "ARM TOUCH. DIRECT QUOTE. THEY'RE SO CLOSE IT HURTS."
