it all started when we were in high school

"hey jake can we talk? " asked yukie

jak looked at her and raised an eyebrow totally confused on what is going on

"sure what do you want to talk about" jake asked

as yukie looked at him a hint of sadness can be seen from how she looked

"it's just I'm gonna go abroad with my family and I'm gonna study here.. we're not gonna be seeing each other now and I don't know if we're gonna be able to keep in touch"

jake looked at her surprised, he is happy for her but there is a feeling that is hidden behind his heart a feeling that everyone feels and it's called `love`

if only he confessed , if only he told her what he truly feels for her, the way he love her, he loved her so much that being away from her is making him sick but now that yukie is going abroad he wasn't sure if he is gonna survive it it's just hard "r-really!" he asked yukie

"yes and I don't know if we're gonna keep in touch I'm not sure if I had the time to call you because of homework" she said totally sad and oblivious on how jake really feel inside "don't worry about it we'll be fine were bestfriends after all" he interrupted (yeah bestfriends it's just what we are nothing more) he thought to himself "welp when are you leaving and where?" he asked just to make sure to go there if he needed to or if he missed her too much

"I'm leaving the day after graduation andwre going to New York.. cool right?!!!" she asked not knowing that the guy she's talking to is sad because of it "wow yukie that's so great like going to new york is your dream right that is so amazing" he said faking a smile but happy for her he is happy for her because this whole time since middle school to high school yukie has been ranting about how she really wanted to go to new York *after a few hours of talking jake had an amazing idea* "why don't we go somewhere yukie I know you will like it" he said looking at her with loving eyes which yukie didn't notice because of how oblivious she is

"wait really where!" she said excitedly

"yu'll know now let's go" I hoped into my car with yukie and speed of the school when we reach our destination, the sun is setting "first I need you to put this blind fold on okay?" jake said handing her a blindfold "ehhh? but why tho I wanna see it already!"

yukie whined "it wouldn't be a surprise the if you don't put this on" jake answered "ugh~ fineee" after he put the blind fold on jake took both of their shoes off as he let her to a beach "you can take it off now" jake said smiling brightly brighter then the sun

"wh-whoa this is so amazing wow jake I love it" yukie screamed" the sun is setting perfectly into the horizon the sea breeze slapping their face and the waves dancing in harmony as the leaves on the coconut trees sway with the wind and covered with lights, after admiring the view they sat on the sand

"yukie I have to tell you something" jake said his voice shaking from nervousness "i-i like you from the very start from the day you transferred and till now" jake confessed as yukie looked at him in shock

"but jake I will be leaving for new York and yu'll stay here so how? how is this thing gonna work out? "

yukie asked surprise by the sudden confession and worried about leaving "I'll wait yukie I'll wait for you until you came back just please give me a chance I really love you" jake pleaded looking at yukie's eyes hopefully.. and to his surprise she actually agreed "fine I'll give you a chance but you do now that I won't be coming back until I finished college right how are you gonna wait for me?" she asked worried about what's going to happen in the future "don't worry I've waited for you all this year's there is no thing to worry about and 4 years is short enough for me to wait for you after all nothing can stop me from loving you right? " jake looked at her his eyes full of hope as yukie sigh "well I guess your right" they hugged and it's the time where the sun fully sets "it's dark now we should head back home" jake asked "hmm I agree my dad is gonna kill me if I came home late" she joked "you mean you dad is going to kill ME I'm the one who dragged you here after all" he said correcting yukie before laughing "haha I guess your right" she laughed and hop on jake's care "let's go home

*timeskip at the yukie residents*

yukie hop of jake's car " thank you for the ride home I'll see you in graduation bye~" she waved and smiled at him making jake a blushing mess "hmm yeah see you" luckily jake managed to make those words come out of his mouth in his flustered situation

"I need rest" he talked to himself home and flopped on his bed making him fall into a deep slumber
