After one of their late-night hangouts in the park
Taehyung
You always look so serious when you laugh
Jungkook
And you always look like you’re up to something
Taehyung
*Grins, stepping a bit closer*
Taehyung
Maybe I am
Taehyung
😏
Jungkook
*Heart skips a beat*
Taehyung is close — too close. The streetlight catches the softness in his eyes, the way they seem to hold a hundred unspoken things
Jungkook
Tae...
Before Jungkook can finish, Taehyung leans in — slow at first — until their lips touch. A fleeting, uncertain kiss that deepens when neither of them pulls away. Jungkook’s hands hover in the cold air before finally gripping Taehyung’s jacket, holding on as though he’s scared this will disappear if he lets go.
Jungkook
*Breathless*
When they finally part, the world feels different. Neither says a word. The unspoken lingers between them, glowing warm in the dark as they just stare — like neither of them can believe what just happened
Present day
Jungkook
*sitting on bed*
Jungkook had his phone in hand, eyes unfocused as the memory floods back
(That kiss...)
Jungkook
I can still feel it like it was yesterday
Jungkook
But what did I do after?
Jungkook
Pulled away
Jungkook
Stopped answering him like I should
Jungkook
Acted like it never happened.
He sighs, rubbing his face with one hand. Outside his window, the rain is light but steady — like a reminder of everything left unsaid.
Jungkook
(And tonight at the café, Taehyung looked so tired… so far away.)
Jungkook
(As if that kiss belonged to two different people.)
Jungkook
(I wonder if he still remembers it too.)
Jungkook
(Or if I’m the only one who keeps going back there in my head — regretting the way I ran.)
Jungkook
(Wishing I could go back and do it right this time.)
Jungkook drops his phone onto the bed, heart aching as the ghost of that kiss settles in his chest — the one that changed everything and was never spoken of again.
